TON’S O’ PIC’s FREE DINING-NEW-1 YEAR LATER-'06

Hi,just back and very full.
This trip it was me(jason),wife patty,daughter kaitlin 14.
We were there last Sept. for the free dining without my daughter,so this year disney offered it again and we took my daughter along to eat her face off.
This year I will not list my reviews by days but instead it will be listed by restaurant as for most people including myself don't care what days and what order the food was eaten in. I also will recap my reviews against last years reviews at the same places.

Now on to the FOOD:

FLAME TREE BBQ= C & $ (for the onion rings)
pork sandwich:

THOUGHTS- The food here is still very good.Last year the ribs seemed better but that could vary day to day.The beans & corn were still excellent.
The pork sandwich was very tender and tasty.
The O'rings seemed even better if possible.The choc.cake was still just as good as last year.

THOUGHTS- This meal was so good we had the same thing twice in a week.
the cookie was just OK & the carrot cake was good.The cinn.roll was just average.

THOUGHTS-Me & my wife ate here ourselfs and loved it.The fish was soooo
much better than the counter at england.The fries were awesome.The
candy bar was different but not bad.Great counter credit though.

THOUGHTS-still excellent. The chicken fingers were new to us but they were very good & the herb fires as well.One of the best counter credits around.

THOUGHTS-this was my daughter's lunch but I tried it so I can write about it.
It was not very good ,the cake or the frankfurter.The kraut was good though.
very skippable.Glad it was not my lunch.(my daughter thought it was OK)

THOUGHTS-decent burger.OK if stuck at world showcase and need a burger fix(as we did)needs peco's bill topping bar here.


BACKLOT EXPRESS=C

Double cheeseburger & fries with choc.bunt cake:

THOUGHTS-this again was my daughters lunch so again I tried some of it (for the sake of DIS) it was just like america & electric umbrella.Decent.The bunt cake was a slight surprise,very good.

THOUGHTS-The server here was playing the part breifly but the place was busy.He told us to order everything all at once (this was the only time we were told this) I told him I didn't know what I wanted right then for dessert
and was told in a huffy manor I HAD to tell him he had to place everything at once.That was very annoying but I got over it quick.The chicken was excellent as were the greenbeans & taters.The malt was so good also.apple cobbler was better than we thought it would be.My daughter had 2 shakes,
one for her drink and one for her dessert.My malt was my drink.Overall
still love this place.

as well.Will eat here anytime.

THOUGHTS-
First time here.Don't care for the decor much,a little plain.Service was spotty.
The filet was excellent very tender but the glaze was a TAD TO SALTY.
The wings were good but I think there the same as O'hanas.crab cakes were very tasty.the mac. nut & apple were great the choc tort was a little to bitter of choc taste.Over all I liked it a lot but my wife & daughter did not care for it.
Oh yea great bread.


O'HANAS=T

needs no description,here is everything:

THOUGHTS-
Still GREAT.The steak was tender as hell.The potatoes are still like CRACK.
The bread pudding is to KILL for.We all got smoothies for drinks and the service was spot-on.Nothing but great food.

THOUGHTS-
gotta love this place.This was the first time we got dusty out of all the times eaten here.What a great server & performer.I asked him for a drink refill as he was sitting (as sceen in the photo) he turns to me and said " not now im on
my union break i'll get it when im done" tooooo funny.lots of pranking.He
made my daughter sing & horsey ride around the tables.The food still great.
He was the only server I felt to give an extra tip to.

Great report!

I never even heard of Cooke's of Dublin before your report. I just added it to our list of must do counter service meals. A fried candy bar for dessert
