Tomorrowland dessert party questions - combine with MVCMP ?

Two questions.
1. Would you combine the MVMCP with the dessert party or will this make it hard to get a spot for the parade and shows?

2. Why would a dessert party be scheduled at 6:00pm? Aren't these usually at 8:30 or 8:45?

I just booked our Dessert Party for 8:30pm on our MVMCP night. My kids LOVE the dessert party and having that reserved space for the Holiday Wishes show is totally worth it for us. We'll miss the first parade, however, we will be in a great place to snag a prime spot for the 2nd Christmas parade after Wishes is over. We prefer the later 2nd parade anyway b/c it's much less crowded.......at least it is during MNSSHP. This is our first MVMCP, so we're crossing our fingers for the same thing.

If you plan to do the early parade it can be a bit difficult. We just booked for a December 4 dessert party during MVMCP.

Just did the same!!! 8:30pm on 12/2--- our party night!!! It was so peaceful and enjoyable last year!!! Not having to deal with the madness!!!

As far as the other question I think it may be a Disney glitch. I was told they would fix it!

Just got one for 12/2 also! I have never done it before and I will have my 2 small granddaughters. I can't wait! (Hope they can stay up for it)
