"March Of The Penguins".. They look so cute - think I might watch or tape that one..:goodvibes

my youngest loves that documentary....she loves all animal documentaries...her favorite is Arctic Tale.

It's really well done. SPOILER ALERT: It SUCKS to be a penguin.

The weather does not need have movies on the weather channel. Then again I am weather junkie.

Be aware, it is not all about cute. There are some really upsetting parts to this film. As someone else mentioned, it sometimes sucks to be a penguin.

Great.. :( Do I want to watch it and be "informed" - or pass it by on the assumption that "what I don't know won't hurt me"? :sad2:

it's a circle of life thing....it upset my kiddo for a little bit (9 at the time she saw it for the first time) and she has a soft spot for animals. It is a very well shot documentary.

I know how you feel. I find these things to be upsetting. While I am interested, they just bother me too much. As the previous poster mentioned, it is the circle of life. I know that, but I choose not to upset myself unnecessarily. I have a hard time letting things go after I see them. They tend to haunt me for awhile. For this reason, I am careful about what I watch. When I watched this film, I wasn't prepared. I just thought you should know so that you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you want to watch it.

Thanks - otherwise I would have had no idea.. I could probably "read" about it without getting super upset, but "watching" it? Hmm.. I don't know..:confused3

LOL....don't have that one. But did see it at the theater.
It is beautiful.....but too sad for me

OK, DH and I are going to HEdouble toothpicks. We add our own commentary to that movie. Turn down the sound so you don't have to hear Morgan Freeman, and make up your own. It is not sad then:goodvibes

I was shocked to see a George Clooney movie on the Weather Channel. It turned out to be The Perfect Storm. :lmao: Go Weather Channel! Any way to show more George Clooney , the better. :thumbsup2

BTW: Spoiler alert for that movie: It had a sad ending. Weather sucks too, sometimes. :(
