Tom & Heidi 1/19/09 Italy WD/WP/Narcoossee's/Sago Cay...Sprint to the Finish!!!

I have been looking at the Jones Cola bottles! What did the back of yours say???

It was in keeping with the "Pop-Up Video" style of notes that MOH stuck on all the other items. It said:

"Did you know that the first cola-flavored beverage was introduced in 1881, and the first patent for a machine to make glass bottles was issued in 1899? So Americans around the turn-of-the-century would have enjoyed a beverage similar to this...without the glamorous picture, of course!"

We used one of the pictures from our e-pics, and our last name is Jones, so we really had to have them!

Very cool. I was thinking about using them but I don't know what for...I just want them! :lmao: We are doing mouse ears for favors and not doing welcome bags...

That is wonderful that you were able to take advantage of the service member passes. I know one of my bridesmaid's husband was active duty last year when they came to our wedding and laughed when Disney announced it this year. Too bad they didn't have plans to go back this year.

I love the theming of your welcome bags. How thoughtful and very creative. What types of things did the labels actually say about the items? I didn't realize you could get the personalized Jones sodas with your own photos on it; how perfect :goodvibes

Here's a few:

"Dating back to the 1860's, Sweethearts were often used for weddings since they had witty sayings like "Married in white, you have chosen right."

"1908-The Cracker Jack brand is immortalized in the song 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' written by Jack Norworth on a 30-minute subway ride."

"In 1909 Harry V. Warenhime began producing Olde Tyme Pretzels for the Hanover Pretzel Company."

"In 1902 the Barnum's Animal Cracker box was designed with a string attached so that they could be hung from Christmas trees."

"1914- Doublemint was introduced as the third Wrigley brand, joining Wrigley's Spearmint and Juicy Fruit in the Wrigley brand family."

"Hershey's, founded in 1894, was advertised as 'a palatable confection and a most nourishing food.'"

Side note: why don't they advertise chocolate like that nowadays!!:rotfl:

"Mr. Peanut was introduced in 1916 and was based on the original drawing of a 13 year old boy."

They were a lot of fun!

Really cute welcome bags with a lot of detail & thought put into them. Love the Jones soda. :thumbsup2
Can't wait to read about the tea party.

I've been following along with you, too. I left Orlando the day of your wedding, and was so bummed it was pouring all day. I'm so glad your day was beautiful in spite of it. And YAY for being neighbors. I just booked my first reservation a couple nights ago for the Marathon weekend in Jan. We couldn't get MK view all 4 nights, but we're still EXCITED!!!!

Wow I am going to be there too!!!! We booked for January 8-15th. Of course no MK view only the standard boring view but I am still excited to stay there! We have to meet up!!

Definitely! There are so many DIS Brides going to be there. This will be a blast!

Well I won't be a disbride officially, but I'll be there marathon weekend as well. I signed up for full! Are you running it, or just enjoying the vacation?

I think we're going to stay at CR though...

I'm running the 1/2. We'll be at BLT right next to CR, so it will be easy to get together!

Wow - your pictures are AMAZING!!! Your vendor list was super helpful - so helpful that I decided to email the Roots. I am hoping that we can meet with them when we go down in a few weeks.

I feel like I somehow missed it - but did anyone post the pic from the mk photo shoot thats now on the cover? I would love to see it - and know who your photographer was.... :)

Anyhoo congrats - I can't say your second wedding was more beautiful then the first - just because they were so different. You had two AMAZING weddings. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I am very jealous and at the same time very happy for you!

If you are lonely being home alone - I would just start thinking and planning your next trip to WDW - that always cheers me up. (even if its not going to be for a while).

Congrats on everything being so perfect and beautiful!

Here's the BP Literature!

Thank you so much for the compliments. I know I am VERY blessed, and all this time alone is how I pay for my blessings (just kidding...sorta...;)) But, we did just make reservations for January, so I'm starting to plan! You're right...it helps!

How the heck did I miss your updates??? I'm sorry girl. Your photos are just amazing!!

Are your MK shoot pictures posted somewhere? I feel like I missed the link - but can't find it. I would love to see them... :goodvibes

We are going to be there for a bit in January too - I can't wait!

That is so cool that your pictures are in the MK photo shoot brochure! I'm not surprised though, when I first saw them I thought you two should be in a magazine!!!:goodvibes

The MK BP brochure is amazing too, that is so neat that you got to have your shoot showcased like that for everyone.
