Tolls & rental cars?

If you rent a car, do you just pay the road tolls with cash? I have heard things about the automatic toll pass in rental cars being a rip off. Can someone help explain this to me? Currently we have a minivan through Budget, but I may end up with another company if the prices drop right before our trip. Thanks!

Yes, you can just pay in cash. We've never bought the toll pass because it wouldn't be worth what you would pay for it. Especially if your only intentions are to go to Disney and back. Rental car companies seem to up their prices on these IMO.
