Tolls from Orlando to Anna Maria Island?

We will be traveling to Anna Maria Island after the Disney portion of our vacation is done. We will be in a rental.

I have tried wording a search every way possible to find this out, but all I can find is old info (like 2011). I just need to know if the tolls on our route will accept cash.

Here is what google maps is telling me to do:

Get on FL-417 Toll S from Jeff Fuqua Blvd

Follow FL-417 Toll S, I-4 W and I-75 S to U.S. 41 S/S Tamiami Trail in Manatee County. Take exit 2 from I-275 N

Follow S Tamiami Trail and FL-64 W/Manatee Ave W to 64th St in Holmes Beach

??? 417 is a toll road. However, there is no reason to get on 417 when leaving WDW.

We aren't leaving directly from WDW, we have to go to MCO to pick up the rental car first.

Do you know if the tolls are cash? I don't want to deal with that Sunpass thing.

Sorry, I thought you wanted toll infomation for once you're off Disney property. That's correct 417 is a toll road, but there are no tolls once you're off property to AMI.

From MCO to Disney there are two tolls on 417. They are $1.50 each. You don't need a Sunpass, just stay to the right for the cash lanes, those lanes do split off. Here are the directions from my notes.

Merge onto I-4 W toward Tampa.
52.9 Mi
5. Merge onto I-75 S via EXIT 9 toward Naples.
33.1 Mi
6. Merge onto I-275 N / 34th St S via EXIT 228 toward St Petersburg.
1.7 Mi
7. Take the US-41 exit, EXIT 2, toward Palmetto / Bradenton.
0.3 Mi
8. Keep left to take the ramp toward Palmetto / Bradenton.
0.05 Mi
9. Turn left onto US-41 S / FL-45 / US Highway 41 N.
Continue to follow US-41 S /FL-45.
6.9 Mi
10. Turn right onto Manatee Ave W / FL-64 to AMI

Thank you! We are so excited for the beach. This is our first time to AMI. On our last Florida trip we went to Siesta Keys.

I think we will need the relaxation time at the beach after 4 packed Disney days!
