Hey everyone-
I wasn't sure exactly where to put this, so I'll try here. I'm seriously looking at taking a little time out of the country, after living in the US my entire life, and I would love some experience working at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo Disney Seas.

Does anyone have any experience at working at these parks, or have information on how to go about getting a job there? The Disney corporate sites only have France, Disneyland and WDW, since I guess staffing at TDL might be handled by the managing company.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think Tokyo Disneyland is run by another company, and licenses rights from Disney. I'm guessing you are looking into being a character or performer? I don't remember them hiring too many non-Japanese staff (for restaurants, rides, hotels, etc). Without knowing anything about their official policies, your Japanese language skills may need to be professional grade for them to consider you for positions outside face characters or stage performers where they require foreign actors. That's just what I observed, so I could very well be wrong. Good luck!

I dont - but can I throw in here, how AWESOME it was, about a year ago - when Disneyworld had brought alll the Tokyo Disney workers over here, to work the attractions they would be working, there??

My fiance and I noticed an awful lot of Asian workers and thought - what the heck is going on? So we asked one of them.... she was going to be a Jungle Cruise tourguide - there - and they brought them all over here to get some training! She was so excited and so psyched!!! It was adorable!!!
