Does anyone have a picture or information on the Bento Box here? Also, noticed the kid meals come in a bullet/monorail box. Is this plastic? Ceramic? A keepsake? Wasn't sure of it was like the kid meal boxes in Seaworld, Shamu that goes home with you!

TIA!

Kids meals come in a plastic monorail plate and it stays at the restaurant. They also currently do not sell them, I asked.

Ispoke too soon on this. It seems they now have a limited edition monorail plate in the store which is heavier than the platic ones. It is $49.95.

Unfortunately I don't have a picture, but I did have the sushi bento box and it was FANTASTIC!!!!!

In the box...

Sushi....For the life of me I can't remember if the raw sushi was nigiri (served on rice) or sashimi (no rice), but I do remember that there was tuna, salmon and yellowtail and then a California roll. The sushi was fresh and excellent.

Tempura...assortment of shrimp, scallops and veggies...fantastic and a lot of it!

Seaweed Salad...again one of my favorites.

Steamed rice...what can you say about sticky steamed rice other than...bring it on!

In addition to the bento box, we ordered the Volcano roll as an appetizer..yum! I'm going back just to have that again!

The meal was incredibly filling and delicious...I highly recommend Tokyo Dining...service, food, atmosphere....all awesome! (We got to watch Illuminations from a fantastic window seat!!) :cheer2:

Ow! Thanks, think they can pass on that -- too much other stuff they really want to buy! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much!! Now, I'm really sure that's what I'm getting!! :cool1:

I do! I do! We ate at Tokyo on Sunday night. We both got the bento. It was fantastic! I forgot to include the side of white rice. The contrasts of the different flavors from each dish was wonderful. I also had the iced green tea. It was a little too bitter for me, but I added a little sugar and it fixed it right up.

I am sorry for the confusion. The sashimi/tempura combo is actually the shinjuku gozen for $27.00. I don't think it's on the allearsnet menu.
