We have a family of 5. When I made my ADR at Tokyo Dining this popped up. Has anyone had any experience with splitting tables at Tokyo Dining? Is it a sure thing? I really don't want to split the family up. It didn't seem to matter what day or time, all had the same warning.

When we ate at Tepan Edo last summer with a party of 11, they split us up 7/4 because we were eating at the hibachi tables. Then they sat a different party of 4 with the group of 7. :confused3

I know that you're specifically asing about Tokyo Dining, but I had that come up a few times with ADRs for other restaurants that I booked for my trip where I'll be alone with my 2 kids. If they really want to seat my 7 and 8 year olds by themselves, it will make for a very interesting meal.:rotfl:

That phrase was on every single ADR I made for our trip, even when it was just a 3 person reservation. I don't think it really means anything; they're just covering their rears. :)

I got this on reservations for 2 ! I dont know why they'd separate me and my fiance but I hope I get seated near some eye candy if he won't be there.
I wouldn't worry too much!

I'm pretty sure that I've been told that on every ADR I've made, and even when we've had 8 people at a table, we've never been split up...even at Thanksgiving during free dining when things were super busy. I was very surprised that the nice folks at Sci-Fi managed to keep us together in adjoining cars.
