Tokyo Dining for a non sushi person!?

I am not a real fan of sushi,,,,can't quite get by the texture. Will I find yummy things to eat here? We are a party of 4 and I am the only non sushi lover. I know that it is a great sushi restaurant so the others are excited. Any one with suggestions for me?

What is "Japanese Style Grill"? Is it the teppan style used in Teppan Edo?

I just ate there on Saturday night and while I am a sushi fan, I think even a non-sushi lover would find something good to eat. Their tempura is really, really good. Last time we were there before this, I think the menu was just sushi and tempura but this time I noticed a Japanese grill section. I think that would be like a dish you'd get at Tepan Edo but without the show of course. I know my local Japanese restaurant has hibachi on the regular dining room menu (i.e., you can get it even if you aren't sitting in the cook at the table room). Hopefully someone who's ordered it can confirm.

In additional to excellent Sushi Tokyo Dining offers several Japanese styles of sauteed/fried foods as well as grilled foods.

'Tempura' style - lightly battered and deep fried Shrimp, chicken and fish.

'Cutlet' style - basically a Panko breadcrumb style of sauteed/pan fried meat. They offer pork chops, chicken and fish.

'Hibachi' style - grilled steak, chicken and salmon.


Basically anything the dining public might want is available - I've had the Tempura and the Cutlet styles and they are every bit as good as they are in Tokyo, without the $5,000 airplane ticket
