Tokoyo Dining

Booked an ADR for Tokoyo Dining last night. I needed to add one more TS reservation to our trip. I wanted some place nice and quiet for our family. We have Ohana and a few character meals, which will be lots of fun. I wanted a meal with no distractions, just family time. The reservation agent was VERY nice and said that Toyoko Dining was very good! I would love feed back on this place. Is there another TS in EPCOT I should be looking at? BTW, LeCellier was booked.

We love it. Just as you described -- quiet and peaceful with a nice view of World Showcase. Simple menu with a sampling of sushi, tempura, and other Japanese favorites. When we eat dinner here we try to get a window table in time for Illuminations -- best view in the world!

Lovely respite from the hectic day!...Once seated, it is like you fell down a rabbit hole into a far away land. Polite to a fault, the service is the best of any Disney restaurant! Warm towels and bowing and quiet stillness....a great way to finish your day!

Don't worry about non-sushi people either: we had steak, salmon and shrimp (if I recall correctly) and none of it was raw.

The only thing that disappointed (and only slightly) was the very American steamed vegetable accompaniments.

Green tea pudding is stellar!

Thanks so much for the feedback. My husband is happy to go to Disney, but it probally wasn't his first choice for vacation. He is in to sushi, and loves any thing green tea. I was also looking for a little downtime. Sounds like I made the right choice!
