We are traveling to WDW in September with our son and nephew who will both be 2 years old. We're trying to figure out if we should do Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, or if the kids would be just as happy at the hotel pool. I've been to both water parks many times, but never when I had a child, so I never paid attention to toddler activities.

If you took your toddler to one of the water parks, did they have a good time? Is there stuff to do geared toward the toddler age group? Thanks:)

I took my kids in 2012 for the first time, and honestly I discovered two things. First of all, I'm glad I didn't bother when they were younger. Second, they don't really want to go back to either one!

The resort pools are fun, plus you don't have to pack up and take the bus (or drive) and then pack up to go back. My kids always liked the resort pools just fine, with the water slides and all.

I personally would find it exhausting to have a toddler at a water park. They are more geared towards teen and young adults, in my opinion.

We've taken our 4 1/2 year olds since they've been 18 months. They love it! We always get a cabana and make a day of it!
