toddlers and honey, i shrunk the audience

I'm planning to go to Honey, I shrunk the audience at epcot. I heard its a must see, but I have a 2 yr. old toddler and heard it may be very scary for her. How did your kids respond to the attraction? How old were they when they saw it?

It's dark, 3D and you get sprinkled. There may be some other surprises - I don't remember. Depends on your child - are they scared when startled? Will they pay attention enough to be startled? Sit near the end so you can take him/her out if they are scared. When son was 4 he was OK, When he was 5 - No way.

Definitely DO NOT do It's Tough to be a Bug at AK.

There's a snake that pops out in 3D also. It might be scarier than the other parts for a toddler.

Agreed about ITTBAB for a toddler....the moving chair parts (making you feel like bugs are under the seat and that a hornet stings you) will probably really upset them at that age!

It's loud more than anything. I suggest Philharmagic or The Muppet's before attempting this. If they can handle those two, it might be all right for this one.

My 12 year old daughter still won't go on this one.

I would definitely NOT take a two year old to Honey I Shrunk the Audience! First it does not hold their attention and judging by the crying and parents excusing themselves down the aisles in the middle of the show, it frightens most of them. We love it, so if you have the ability to even take turns, see it for yourself.

A 2 year old may be a little young for this show. The snake really frightens, it did my dd and she is 10.

This show freaked my girls out, and nothing scares them! They watch all kinds of movies and don't get scared. But they refuse to go see this again. It really upset them.

My youngest was 4 the first time he saw it, and he didn't like it. The bug show, though, really terrified him. He was 9 last time we went and still wouldn't do the bug show and he loves all the thrill rides.
