I asked this on the resorts board, too, but thought you guys might have some ideas. We just changed our trip to get in on the 4/3 deal. My DD will now only be 22 months when we go. She is already too long to sleep in her pack n play. What should I plan to do with her to sleep? We are staying at the Poly, if that matters. TIA

Our DD was and still is a very tall child. We travel quite often with them as toddlers and she would sleep on a foldout cot for awhile.. It was closer to the floor than the beds. We sometimes went the double bed route and one of us slept in bed with her. If you are afraid of her falling out put her on the outside away from the end table and pad the floor with extra blankets ordered from front desk.

Hope this helps!:)

You can call Disney and request bedrails.. They will have them in the room for you when you check in. :goodvibes

I bought a Kidco Peapod Plus for DS when we went to Universal with DH's work back in September. It can be used with infants and even older kids because its so big. And it folds up into this small thing and weighs just about nothing. I'd HIGHLY recommend it.

We just took the back cushions off the sofa, got a bedrail from housekeeping and made the sofa up with the extra sheets and pillow. It worked great!

We brought one of these to Mexico w/ us & our DD who was 1 did not like sleeping in it. We paid a lot of money for it & would suggest if you purchase one of these, to have your child get used to it at home prior to travel.
but they really are amazing & very light and compact!

My DD will be turning 3 during our vacation and has been sleeping in a toddler bed for a year already. There's no way she'll fit in or sleep in a pack-n-play and the bed are both going to be full. There' sno couch at a value resort room. Any suggestions for me? I have a small air mattress which is the width of a toddler bed but slightly loger I could pack. But I need an air pump to pump it up. Is there one at the resort I could borrow? :confused3

I have this and all I can say is I LOVE IT!!!! We have taken it everwhere, Tx, to the lake and of course Florida. It was the best purchase! My SIL has one for my niece, and they use it all the time too, and she is as tall as my 4 yr old!

We co-sleep normally so that is what she will do on vacation... but, just put her in the other bed and put pillows off to the sides of her.

We were at BC last year when our DD was 22 months. She did fine in the bed with the bed rails. Call reservations to request them!
