I totally agree. My screaming, tantrum throwing child would have been safely buckled in his seat (with assistance from me or my husband) no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Yes, other passengers would have probably been totally annoyed at my screaming child BUT.... the flight would have gone on as planned and I have no doubt that eventually.... the tantrum wears off.
Thanks for the ear surgery clear up. I couldn't believe someone would even risk flying with a child that had just undergone surgery in the past weeks.
Heavens to Murgatroid??
Is that a Yogi bear saying? I haven't heard this in eons but I know I've heard it somewhere before....
P.S. I think Nicolas will be just fine.
Although I have to admit he does use blackmail on me now pretty often.......

[sarcasm]Heavens to Murgatroid! I think you may have traumatized poor little Nicolas so badly by offering to give him away free that he developed an instant case of slavery mentality and tried to up the bid! Oh, the humanity! [/sarcasm]
