This looks like a normal thread where he pushes his opinions on us.

Thanks for the compilation,Mickey .

Of course, let's not forget the the MAJORITY of DISers on this thread would like to fry this woman.......... after suffocating her in a heated car ..........after pulling out all of her fingernails.

Soooooooooooooooooo, my 12 posts are actually many fewer than the "let's convict her of Murder 1" crowd......:)

Looks to me like EROS is conversing with several people.

And now you can up my count to two.

On the other hand, I don't feel that you should post anything about those wild orgies which I described in my PMs to you ;) ;) ;) ;) .

Sweetie, I am confused. Do you mean the actual orgies that you were in or the ones that you were WISHING you were in?

OMG- I'm still here, and I'm going to add to my post count again!:o I must be masochistic, as well as sadistic.

I don't think that charging someone with murder 1, is the same as suffocating a human in a car. Of course you would have to ask the child...but of course she can't speak for herself.

Whats a girl to do? Is it time to kiss and flirt now? Thats how these usually end, oh well. See ya later.....

Again EROS I respect your right to your opion. I sometimes even agree with it. As one who has been labled by you based on my opinions,( HEH club) I just think that your constant labling of people for what they believe gets old

Noone said anything about suffocating her in a car or convicting her of murder 1 - at least not before your first post. All expressed sympathy for the child and some even for the mother.

What a horrible story. I hadn't even heard it until now. How sad for everyone involved. :(

A sad happening. :( God bless that child, and may the proper, legal application of the law be carried out on the mother who was reponsible for her child's death.

EROS, I did my best to get you elected, but the polls were closed early:rolleyes:  (you were winning though)

A long thread that seems to have been derailed by the SOS:rolleyes: . C'mon people!!!That's what "Ignore" is for!!!!!!

With regard to the initial post, my heart goes out to the poor dead child. My heart goes out to the mother who probably now wishes she had made a different decision, for many reasons.

tedsmom, your post is right on the money. Some things never change:rolleyes: .

DisneyDoll, you won't see this post, but I love you too ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) . Glad to see that you're keeping up your SOS!!!!

I personally feel bad for everyone involved in this. No matter what the motivation was, it just looks tragic to me now. :(

Is someone flirting? I miss these things I guess.

I'm usually sickened by the righteousness of DISers, too, when the parent obvioulsy forgot that they had the child. This, however, is pure stupidity. I have no problem locking someone away for this stupidity, because really, everyone knows this is deadly. If she really didn't "get it," well I don't feel safe with her walking around on the streets anyway. Now, of course, once you get below a certain IQ, you're labeled disabled, then you're protected by the law (and it's just not PC to blame someone with a 20 IQ for something like that), so it's a fine line to draw.

THIS is why I'm all FOR sterilizing stupid people. Right to procreate?

Oh, if she really was completely unable to find someone to keep her kid and was unaware of her options, and was absolutely certain (in her mind) that she had to go to work, surely she still realizes her options are:
- leave kid tied in baby seat in car
- leave kid tied in baby seat at home

Gee... it may not be ethical, but it's a heck of a lot better to neglect your kid in the air conditioning than in an oven!!!

OOOOOOO-Kay! So when 1 person disagrees with 20 people, and the 1 person is addressed by the majority of those people, the 1 person doesn't have the right to respond to each and every one? The 1 person is PUSHING his opinion, but the 20 are just stating theirs? Please get a job with the local news; you've got the bias thing down to a tee.

gets old... well, except when you do it, of course. or is "jerk" not a label?

I can not even read this, I will only reply. Things like this make me sick, sick, sick.

I can not understand how people put themselves and their looks above the health and well-being of their children.
Lock her up and throw away the key.

I agree, this mother will have to live with the loss of her child for the rest of here life. But to call this a "tragic mistake" IMHO is incorrect. It was a Tragic Decision made by the mother. For whatever reason she decided that work was more important then her child. If someone gets Drunk and kills someone with thier car, do we call that a mistake or poor decision? I don’t know about Atlanta, but the local radio stations are forever warning people about the dangers of leaving children or pets in a locked car during the summer. Yet this past summer a mother left her child in a looked car for over three hours while she was getting here hair done and the results were tragic for the child. Was this a tragic mistake or a tragic decision made by this mother?

As for compassion for the mother, I do feel bad for her. We have all made bad decisions in our lives, but fortunately for most they didn’t turn into tragic ones. As for me I will pray for both the mother and child along with both families that are involved.

People MAKE mistakes..........sometimes FATAL mistakes. I've seen it happen in the operating room as well

I agree fatal mistake can be made in an operating room because surgeons are only human. But if a surgeon operates knowing that what he /she is about to do can be fatal, and dose it any way so that something else he/she needs to get done can be accomplished and the patient dies, is that a tragic mistake or a tragic decision?

Yes, it looks like some people were flirting on here last night. I guess some people consider death an aphrodisiac. I definitely don't!

It's a matter of fact, I'm so disgusted I think that I'll take a break from posting for awhile. Carry on....
