"Toddler and Tiara" My Princesses First Disney Trip!! January 2012

I adore POR! We stayed there for our honeymoon (of course, you probably already knew that. ;))
But it is so beautiful & quiet. I love the landscaping, it's so green!:cloud9: We loved all the little lizards & rabbits that seem to love the resort as much as we do as well, lol.
I have still be so tempted to switch to POR for our trip!

What do you do in Texas when it is 100+ degrees outside? Stay inside and craft of course!!

Here was my delima. My stroller has an undercarriage area, but it's a little too small in my opinion. I have tons of tote bags but none that hang well over the handle of the stroller, all the straps were too short and I wanted one that zipped up completely. Well Hobby Lobby, my local craft store, was having a sale on fabric and ribbon so I decided to drag out the ol' sewing machine a give it a go. Here is what I put together...

And a close up of the cute flower detail. I also plan on hand painting our last name on the top of the ribbon strap so that when it is on the stroller it will lay nicely across the top.

It turned out pretty cute. Lets be honest I am no seamstress, but it will do for some extra storage.

Speaking of cute crafty totes :goodvibes, I made Lo this little number a few months back. I hope she actually has a chance to use it at Disney World!!

My house officially looks like a disaster area after all that sewing and hot glueing so I am off to get it back in order... hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday!!

I've heard so much about these lizards and bunnies at POR!! I hope they don't disappoint while we are there :) Lo would get a total kick out of them I am sure!!

Lately she has been over the moon in love with these crows we have in Texas. She shrieks with joy when ever she sees one in a parking lot or out door resturant trying to steal someones dinner. They are actually pretty nasty birds... but she loves them

VERY cute! I wish I could sew, but I know my limitations, and since my son's baby scrapbook is only done up until October of last year, I don't think I need to take on another hobby!

And how do you find the time with LO running around?

I worked on it during both of her naps (she still takes two) and when V got home from work. I actually sewed a little bit while she was with me... very cute, she just sat in my lap and watched. Very unlike Lo actually!!

Try not to cry!!

Well that's what I've got so far... I've actually gone into more detail for each day, but I'll post those seperately and closer to our vacation because I am sure somethings will get shimmied around.

Thank you so much! :)

I wanted to let you know that I told my sister about your reports!! I think you two would get along so well :) She is going to join the Dis soon and I hope you both can connect, is there an area on here that you can talk to other teens?

I hope there are some :tinker:MAGICAL DREAMS included in this trip! They're good for everyone ages 1 and up :)

:rotfl: This must be my Kiddo Biddo!! :rotfl: Welcome DisneysBellman to my PTR... I know you'll be able to help me pull things together for this trip!! :lovestruc For the rest of my awesome followers... this is my amazing, wonderful, beautiful little sister!! She is THE BEST EVER... did I mention she is brilliant and athletic too :lovestruc

Oh and DisneysBellman, V said that this little guy is him... :cool2: or this guy, :cool1: because these are the dance moves he will be showing you when you visit. Hahahaha!!

I've heard so much about these lizards and bunnies at POR!! I hope they don't disappoint while we are there :) Lo would get a total kick out of them I am sure!!

LOL, too cute!! I do not think they will disappoint. They were everywhere when we were there. Little lizards running across the sidewalk, little bunnies hopping around. We then saw a bunny out front of Narcoossee's, lol. That kind of wildlife seems abdunant! Landon is in love with all kinds of animals lately, especially the horses near our house. But, he hates bugs.......

Love your stroller bag. That is cute. I wish I was crafty but alas, I can't even imagine what something I tried to make would look like!! :scared1:

Your prelimanary (sp?) plans look great!! I'm sure they'll be tweaked some, hehe. I've changed my ADRs several times.....which reminds me, I need to change some of them again. ;)

Adorable photo!

Hope you had a wonderful 4th!

Remember when I posted my preliminary iternerary and I believe in the first sentence I said. "I've thought a lot about this plan and don't want to change it a billion times."? Well, here I go changing it ALREADY!!

I shared my plan with DH and he wanted to have more down time out of the parks. WHAT!?!?! "Okay honey, what ever you like :)." Remember I have a goal this trip... I want to, nay, I NEED to convert V into a disney lover!! So I was more than happy to accept his wishes. Here is the new preliminary plan that will probally be changed. Again. :lmao:

The new schedule looks great! It's a really good idea to not go to a park your first full day there. We took that first day just to relax and ride the monorail, swim, etc. and it really made for a relaxing start to vacation!

I was messing around on youtube the other day compairing Wintersummer Land and Fantasia Gardens mini golf and I came across a video of the updated Coronado Springs rooms... oh my goodness they are beautiful!!

For the past three trips we stayed @ CSR and I've always liked it just fine. We never had any problem with the bus service and the grounds are nice. Rooms were just okay, but now I think they're the best of the moderate hotels. The only down fall is that I am not a huge fan of the Pepper Market, although we are only planning on breakfast there one day.

So now, I can't believe it, but I think we're going to switch resorts after all my research. I hope all this switching and changeing around is not a trend for this vacation!!

From what I've heard, Coronado Springs is great! My aunt and uncle stayed there the beginning of June and enjoyed it a lot!

If I remember correctly, we all liked the Coronado. It was in a good location, it had buses coming by often, and the rooms were nice even before they were redone. I've gone on all my Disney trips but one with walt'sgirl and every resort we've stayed at (except for one which I'm not sure was a Disney Resort) was great!

I would just make sure that the room is comfy. How much time do you plan on spending at the resort other than sleeping. Also, I think that the buses are a huge advantage! Especially because you will have a baby with you :) Pepper market may not be great but it can't be too horrible...hopefully. If you plan on leaving early for the parks at least one day, you can do what we've done in the past and just get food from the window/ stand. I'm not an expert on small children but I would imagine that, by then, Logan could eat her food without sitting down for a meal.

Subbing! :goodvibes That Mickey bag you made for your daughter is so cute! Also love your meal choices...I adore Boma for dinner -- they have the best desserts!
