Today's (Friday) DC area shooting attibuted to the same sniper person as others

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Oct. 11 — Ballistics tests linked the slaying Friday of a Philadelphia man near Fredericksburg, Va., to the sniper who has terrorized the Washington area by killing at least seven other people in barely more than a week, law enforcement sources told local news outlets. The latest slaying was the sniper’s most brazen yet, claiming its victim as a state trooper stood across the street.

this is so....sad. What psychopathic sicko is doing this? my uncle knew the guy who was shot and died on the 9th. you never think it can hit so close to home until it does.

There was never any doubt in my mind.

I hope we can get through the weekend without any more shootings....maybe it'll give the authorities some time to catch up with these people. (and I do believe there are more than one involved)

I never doubted it either and in a way I am glad it is all linked because the original killer and a copy-cat killer would be terrible!! I hope and pray that this person is caught soon. All of you in that area please stay safe and you are in my prayers!!!
