I read on here about Entenmann's outlets and I forgot all about them. Looked it up and there is one not so very far from me. So today doing other errands I stopped in and for $10 got

3 loaves of Maier's Italian Bread(sliced bread)
An Entenmann's French butter crumb cake
Entenmann's Pound Cake
Entenmann's Chocolate chip pound cake
A package of Hot Dog buns!

All for just $10!! I am definately making that a more regular stop. With 4 kids we blow through sandwich bread(I make my own bread for toast and dinners- but sandwiches I just couldn't make the right kind- at $1 a loaf I won't have to!)

Just wanted to mention it in case someone else forgot about the bread outlets (and the stuff wasn't all that close to expiration- bread was Feb 8 2 loaves are already in the freezer and the cakes were late feb.)

Thanks for reminding me. We used to have one just down the street from us but it closed a few years ago so I looked to see if there was another one and there is about 10 minutes away. I hope to go next week and scope it out.

Ours been hit hard by the snow that keep happen down south that can't keep up. It so bad that has close for couple days.

They is predicting snow this weekend and next week. I would love get some from bakery because it so cheap.

I just glad the kids go school today.

Yes! We have an Entenmann's outlet near my house, and a Pepperidge Farms outlet near my mom's. I buy the sandwich thins and throw them in the freezer as well as cakes, muffins, and bread. Love them!

My favorite find at the local bakery thrift stores are the bags of small brown loaves of bread from Outback. :thumbsup2 The bakery sends all of the overage to the thrift. You get 10-12 loaves per bag for $4. YUM!

I regularly shop at the local Pepperidge Farms outlet, where I buy the whole wheat/no hfcs/no soy sandwich bread dd can eat. I much prefer to spend $1.89 there than $4 at the grocery store!

I do love the days when they run a 5/$5 sale on all breads and rolls. And last summer I totally scored on 50c/pkg whole wheat burger rolls :D

I used to go to the one in North Olmsted on Lorain Rd all the time. It was right around the corner from where I worked. Which part of Cleveland are you from?

I just did some searching and found out there's an Arnold outlet in the next town and an Entenmann's one 7 miles away! DEFINITELY going to check those out! And I HAD not thought about this, so thanks, OP! :thumbsup2

I LOVE our Entemann's/Oroweat outlet  Ours isn't too far from us, although it's down a road I had never gone down until I looked up the location. The store area itself is very small and basic, but they load the delivery trucks out of the back of the location, so they have just about anything you can imagine there and will get it out of the back for you if you don't find what you want in the store. The people that work there are so nice too!

Our store has a punch-card thing where after buying a certain amount of stuff, they give you two items free. And I think if you shop there on Sunday, they give you double punches too!! Lately they've also had $1 item specials - anything from english muffins to all butter loaf (my favorite) to a triple pack of bagel thins (yes, a triple pack for a $1 - thankfully they froze great!). It's always an adventure to go in there - I never quite know what we'll end up leaving with, but I'm always thrilled with the price!

I live in North Olmsted and used to go in there religiously. My dad and I would always stop after he picked me up from school.

Small world...we live in North Olmsted too!!:wave2: We are up in the corner just south of Westlake and right next to Fairview Park. I used to work at Birch and now split my time between two of the other schools.

I do'thave a bakery outlet in my area, but I did find that my Dollar Tree carries Nature's Own bread and buns for $1.

Hi neighbor. I too live on that side of North Olmsted. I live literally houses away from Fairview Park. I actually went to birch for kindergarten back in 1990.

We used to have a Stroehmann's outlet about 5 minutes from us. Now the closest one is 40 minutes away. =(

We only have a Wonder store in my town, but I like to go there because they sell fresh items at a discount! When things get close dated, they mark it down to .79. Its across town so I don't go every week, but in the summer when we are going to farmers markets, we always make sure to stop.

Just FYI, not an outlet, but Aldis carry great hotdog and hamburger buns for .79 cents everyday and loaves of bread are from .99 cents to $1.19. Disappointed though that they do have HFS in them since they took it out of most stuff there and no msg in most things also.

Don't forget there is a Pepperidge Farm outlet store in Westlake on Center Ridge Rd.

What bakery outlet carries the Outback bread? I absolutely LOVE that bread!
