Today is the first offical fedex mailing day for MEMBERS HOMECOMING TICKETS

We registered for MH before Christmas. I thought we would have gotten some additional information by now. I called MS Monday about this. I was told the MH information would be sent out via 2 day FedEx this week. Nothing for us here in Texas. With 2 day FedEx, I don't think it really matters where we live and hopefully the rest of us will receive ours shortly.

We got the non-media deal because we have APs. We were not asked if we had APs or PAPs, so we assume that the people who got the non-media deal don't get any DQ/PI passes. In our case that's fine, since we rarely do DQ or PI.

The DQ/PI passes are not separate, it says plus one DQ or PI admission right on the 2 Day PH ticket.

Am I the only one miffed because our Member Update is at 10am on one of the two park days we have? We are going to be there the entire week, couldn't they have scheduled something so that I don't have to miss a big portion of our park day? We usually open the park at 9,stay until 11:30-12 and then return in the late afternoon.....I know I don't HAVE to go to the MU, but I'm sure there will be some sort of "gift" involved, so I feel if I don't go, I'm missing out on something!!

Should I complain to DVC or is it not even worth it?

I couldn't agree more. We were only planning on attending the events we knew about (and the DIS meet, of course, ). Anything additional may or may not fit into our plans. It doesn't seem like it would be fair to "spring" it on us at the last minute.

Still waiting here for our 4 tickets.....nothing yet today.

My thought on the agendas is more the where and when of the actual event. For example we know at Epcot there is a dessert buffet. The agenda will tell us where to get it and most likely the hours it is open. Same with the rides, party, etc. Also if they have special bus transportation that will be included as well.

The same would go for our night at Magic Kingdom (where do we eat, do you need tickets, etc.) Also how to get to and from SSR for the Thursday opening and where our seating is etc.

I think they will still leave the park days pretty much in tact (except of course for the member update meeting).

For some reason I thought that with the tickets I would get some new and more detailed info about the specifics of MH. Really, I don't know anymore than I knew on12/17/03 when I bought the tickets. Also, if I would have known that there would be an event to attend at 10 am on the 25th I wouldn't have decided to land at MCO at 9:15 that same morning. Now we feel cheated that we can't attend the Member Update. I'm just wishing I had more info here!!

DisneyChic maybe if you call MS they can schedule you for a different time. They state on the tickets that the tours will be held on Tues and Wed. Maybe you can get it changed to Wed.

A couple of quick things:

For those of you with a conflict for the Member Update meeting - I'm sure you can switch to the other day. On the Member Cruise we were scheduled for days and times, but no one checked to make sure you were there at your appointed time.

Also for those of you who would like to make a little time to meet fellow DIS'ers we are having a DIS meet in Epcot at 3pm on the 25th. Details here - MH DIS Meet Hope you can join us!

DH - MarkRG, is making DIS meet buttons so if you can join us stop on by the post and then drop him a pm asking for the buttons. We need to know within the next week as we have other things we need to finish before leaving for WDW!

Here I was on the phone with Dh and I hear the Fed Ex truck pull up - so I tell dh I have to go cuz the Fed Ex guy is here, and then the truck pulls away without coming to my door. I tell DH that I'm going to go hunt him down. Of course Dh laughs and tells me to get ahold of myself. Oh wait, I hear that truck again!! Yes!!! He's stopping here!!!!!

My Member Update meeting is scheduled for 3 PM on Tuesday. I will probably go at a different time or I will have Wdwlvr call me after her meeting and let me know if I will be missing anything.

The "once-in-a-lifetime celebration" packet has arrived at our house in Texas. Our "Ticket to Magic" cards that were enclosed do not appear to have any identifing names or numbers on them. Since it is a little like sending cash, I'm not surprised they sent them FedEx. The label had "Deliver by 30APR04" and they did. I hope everyone gets theirs soon.

Saw mine at lunchtime..(wife opened them).....a few comments..

1. After this long long wait..I'm kind of .....underwhelmed...

2. I was surprised that paper ticket media was enclosed...sure thought it would be added to our resort keys like other tickets are...maybe its because the "2 day park hopper tickets" appear to expire at the end of May..

3. Interesting note about the visit to SS...said something like "be among the first to take a dip in the pool"..etc....got my curiosity there...oh and I believe I read that our visit was scheduled for Wednesday at 2 PM..so that would probably work for me..I hadn't planned on going but would make a nice break...lunch at DD then a visit to SS prior to the park night

I guess that's it for excitement until the big week..

Dave - I believe the park hopper is only good on the 25th and 26th. Not sure what kind of dates they put on for DQ/PI. We have AP's so didn't get the hoppers.
