My tightwad DH couldn't believe that I wanted to spend £20 on a terramundi pot...so he made me one. It is a tupperware pot with a slot cut in the lid, wrapped in Christmas paper. It is truly hideous but is filling up nicely with £2 coins.

Thats so funny, they do look nice, seemingly you can split them and use them as flower pot things, I have to say,not sure I would spend another 20 on one, i like the big wine bottles you get in Fl, I use the dental drill at work to put a hole in it(dont ask)
actually , I wonder if I could use it to cut a hole in the bottom of the pot?

To be fair, if it wasnt 20 I would have smashed it a year ago to get the cash out for a chinese or something!

Got back from my visit to Orlando in September. Had the usual depression after, thinking when will I get back again, avoiding these boards to avoid being even more fed up.

This morning I've woke up and thought - now's the time to start saving to get back. Won't be happening this year, but I intend to have saved up the plane fares by the end of the year. I have many other things to spend money on this year, but I can do it..

Exactly the same here.... we are not going back until 2010, we haveto gut our bathroom next year and make a start on a few other things that have been put off year after year after year because we went to wdw instead.
well at least the kids will remember their wdw holidays instead of diy jobs!

Ive been needing a new bathroom since we moved in 6 years ago,I mean the fixtures have been painted over/on the wall for the last 40 years. when I get old and about to kick the bucket I will not remember the new bathroom,(cause it aint going to happen) but i will remember all the places Ive been.

The company I work for give us a quartly bonus as well as an end of year bonus, everyone will be put away to one side. I think I'll get there pretty quickly.

my bathroom is yrs old nearly as old as me we moved into this house 8 yrs ago and have never got around to replacing the avocado green bathroom suite and the green wall tiles.... the mouse kept calling all the time... come and visit me in wdw...

Well I was bored one day looking after my nephew (3 at the time) so we got a BIG empty (think its a 5L one) water bottle paper-mached it, then painted it and then stuck Disney stickers on it!!!!! its huge and holds loads, does the job!

I also the hard rock, in fact I love all 3 of the universal hotels, (am very lucky that I've stayed at all 3!!) but as a previous poster said you can alway do split stays that what I alway do, week at Disney and then a few nights at Universal.

And to make you all jealous i'm going to be staying at Hard Rock in just over a weeks time

In my defence I was having an 'art attack moment' and in my minds eye it looked great!!! But alas I am rubbish when it comes to anything arty or crafty!!!!

And it was a great way to keep my nephew busy for a while!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I came back in Oct 2008 and didn't come back on the boards for nearly 12 months. We have set ourself a target for saving to go again in Sept 2011 starting today.

I even renewed my TGM account back in 2006 to guarantee we would return at some point (wow that was a huge countdown ticker, in the 1000's back 2006. It is now 605 days to go!)

We're saving for our WDW 2011 wedding, eeeeee, it's tought cutting down on groceries and eating out and new clothes, but it's very exciting!

We went on our first WDW adventure last august/september and i'd love to go back this year but my boyfriend is trying to save for a deposit for a house and i'm torn between saving to go to disney or going to south africa for a few months to get some work experience...decisions decisions! happy saving everyone!
