Today is our wedding anniversary, but I'm sad . . .

because I keep thinking about last year's anniversary spent at AKL!!! LOL! I miss the animals, and the African art, and the fire pit in the lobby (which we used a lot because it was freezing last year!). We ended up with dinner at Boma, a restaurant that we enjoyed for the atmosphere (food was not our favorite, but that was just our tastes, not that it was ill-prepared) and for the great, friendly CMs.

DH and I ended up buying each other the same anniversary card this year - with Mickey and Minnie on it!

I was like that this year at Christmas time, lol. We had spent the last 3 years with the kids right around Dec/Jan there and this year we took them in Oct. I was in mourning, lol. Seriously I am very lucky to have gone that many times with 5 kids. I still feel your pain, though. Happy Anniversary.....how about doing something Disney themed today/tonight.....going to your local Disney store if there is one near you, putting out some brochures and looking at them, watching the vacation planning video or other videos you may have purchased, looking at any pictures/video you may have taken.....the list is endless.

Happy Anniversary - know how you feel ! . . . yesterday was my birthday and last year I celebrated turning 50 surrounded by my DH, kids and GrD with breakfast at Chef Mickey's, checked out of a week at BWV and over to HRH - dinner with 17 family and friends at Mama Della's !!! So to make myself feel better I called the family and invited everyone over to watch the playoffs, eat and have cake - those that were there last year even kept saying, "wow, remember how much fun we had last year !!" It was a nice day (the football fans were happy, the Eagles won !!) - and I got to spend it with my mom and dad, who didn't travel with us last year - so it all evens out ! And I won't feel bad for long, because I've planned a too short but fabulous trip to HRH & BWV for DS's 16th b'day in less than 2 weeks!!!! - got to love making special memories - we are blessed to have them!! Have fun planning your next trip !!

Happy Anniversary! I, too, have been thinking about what I was doing at this time last year. On this day, we were at Epcot, and only two days into our 7 day trip. It's hard to believe a whole year has gone by, and May still seems so far away. But, take heart, your trip will be here before you know it!

Thanks everyone! It is so special to make these great memories! I keep trying to remind myself that on our next trip we'll be celebrating my birthday! LOL!
