I actually don't mind too much not finding this specific date but I thought they may keep the ADR for some reason (as special event or some other reason) as there is a lot of availability for all other dates

Yes, you should have the 180+ the next ten days, or as many days as your reservation if less than 10. CRT isn't able to be booked by the mobile app. You have to use your PC and website, or call. Good luck!

Assuming you are staying on site, then yes.

Yeah my sister was able to snag a ressie for that date for 8 of us! I was shocked, but glad because that is supposed to be her "birthday" dinner. (Her birthday is actually the day before). She said there were alot of opening still for that day on Saturday when she booked it.

It just means that, if you're staying at a Disney Resort, that 180 days before the first day of your trip at 6am EST, which in your case is July 17, 2016, you can book all your reservations for up to 10 days of your trip, so in your case, you can book up to from January 13, 2017 to January 22, 2017.

This is essentially what 180+10 means.

Non-Disney resort guests gets 180 days only, meaning they need to get up on 7/17, 7/18, 7/19 etc to book 180 days out for each day of their trip.
