Today is my 180 days and I can't get Ohana. So disappointed!

i logged onto MDE at 7:45 this morning which is exactly my 180 day mark. I can't believe the difficulty I had trying to get our favorite places to eat. I literally spent 5 hours making dining reservations and had to rearrange our entire itinerary because of this. Ohana was not available for dinner the entire 8 nights of our stay and we are so very disappointed. Ohana is a must do for our family every time we visit, and in the last 10 years we have always been able to get a reservation without any problem. I wonder why it's not available at all. I also had difficulty with other locations. Not one Fantasmic dinner package availability, hoop Dee Doo had limited times, Cape May Cafe offered me one time slot, 10:30 for breakfast....so late! What is happening? Is this what it's coming to? How can these places be full 180 + 10 days out?
You mentioned 180+10... did you try for day 190 days out for Ohana and F! packages?? That does make me wonder whether they haven't opened all for some reason... F! Dining packages?? I've gotten those whenever I've wanted them for YEARS... Including one for Nov. I am on right at 6am, but still...

Well, for December F! packages, F! isn't even on the preliminary operating hours calendar for December (http://media.disneywebcontent.com/StaticFiles/ParkHours/WDWTravelAgent_december.pdf). So I would assume F! packages are not bookable for that reason alone.

Can't book a package for something not on the schedule. When they update the December schedule to include F!, I suspect dining packages will become available. Not before.

Ohana availability, I think, is something else. It might even be that they're ceasing with the epic overbooking that leads to the epic delays in seating for an ADR, but I suppose it's too much to hope that to be the case. :rotfl:

I arrive on Thanksgiving night, spending black friday at Epcot- have not booked dining for that date since CP packages haven't been released. I will be back in WDW 12/3-12/7, ADR day is Monday, apparently F! packages have not been released for any of those dates yet, and everyone is saying that Ohana is impossible to get.

OP- I think some of these dates overlap with free dining, and maybe that is what's creating the lack of availability. I do think we all will be able to get reservations if keep checking though :)

I wonder if adding DVC at the Poly is the reason. The first week of December is a very popular DVC time because points needed are low for that time.

Now that all makes more sense to me! Thank you! :)

I just made ADRs and got most of what I wanted, including optimal times...a 7 pm res for California Grill and two lunch reservations for a much larger party at Sci-Fi and Crystal Palace (and I've seen others have issues getting ADRs at those).

There has been nothing open at BOG during the two nights I was looking for a party of 5 (did see one breakfast, but didn't take it as it didn't mesh with our park plans). And Garden Grill has NOTHING during the weekdays of our stay, which makes me wonder if it's temporary down that week for refurb or something...the week before has available ADRs and the weekend of our stay has them, but during the week for breakfast/lunch/dinner there's NOTHING. Very odd.

It's an adventure!

I got all my ADRs today going online right at 6am - 2 BOG PPO! However there were a couple like 50's prime time that appeared to be sold out for my party size. I called an hour later and "magically" the CM was able to get me the time I wanted. I was on the computer refreshing as I was talking to her and still couldn't find the times on my own. Same thing with boat house so I think they do hold back some tables for those calling in. Call and see if that helps.

Did you try calling? We are going at the time of Free dining and was able to get Ohana for a party of 10 (in one reservation) about 3 months out.

I called this morning for Ohana on my 180+7 and the CM (dec 8) and the CM said that Ohana dinner times had not even been loaded into the system for that day. That makes more sense than it being fully booked by people who are going for more than a week.

I called DVC member services and they were trying to assist me with my reservations but were unable to get anything at Ohana for me. I will just have to check back daily.....several times.

I was on right at 6am est on my 180 and still couldn't get Ohana. Hoping more opens up or people drop.

1) Ohana is popular.
2) Resort guests tend to grab it at the 180+10 day mark.
3) This leaves a lot of people unable to reserve at 180.
4) There might be cancellations at the 45-day mark or the night before when folks cancel to avoid the $10/person penalty.

I too got all of my requested reservations at 180 + 10 yesterday except O'Hana - even looking out at the end of our trip, there was no availability. We are staying club level at the Poly and noticed that even the IPO wasn't able to book it, so I suspect the dinner times aren't in the system yet.

It is well known that the Boathouse only releases a small portion of their dining inventory to the Disney booking system. You can book the Boathouse on Open Table or by call the restaurant directly. It is not Disney owned and books this way

I didn't know that but good to know. However what about 50's prime time? I also called back this morning to see if BOG had any PPO for a different day and even though I couldn't find anything the CM found some

I just saw a few Ohana dinner reservations show for December 4th. I have two in my party.

Reservation tracker? Can you tell me more about this? Is this an app or something?
There used to be several companies that you could pay to search for reservations you requested. They would send an email or text advising you what was available. You woud then try to book it I believe Disney put an end to this earlier this year.

Touring Plans still has a reservation finder. You put in the restaurant and time you are looking for, and it will text you with a link when one becomes available. I have gotten several PPO BOG reservations, 'Ohana, Akershus PPO and CM using it for October. I know some people say the reservation finder is available without paying for a subscription, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. I paid, but it was the best $8 I ever spent!

I had the same problem....soon many reservations were gone or there were only horrible times left. I tried to book Cinderellas 190 days in advance right at 6am and the only time I could get was 9:30 for 3...we have a party of 8 for my son's birthday. We were planning on doing cinderella's earlier in the evening then the wishes desert party at night. Not only will we not be able to do that, but we'll be split up as well. I'm happy we at least got in...I know how hard it is to get Cinderella's Royal Table....but I book at CRT last year for around the same amount of people at about 170 days out and had absolutely no problem. Beaches and cream is even full with on 10:30 times available at best. I don't get it.
