Today at CiCi's Pizza I saw a women eat ...

i don't care what other people eat.

i personally don't like the toppings and just eat the crust. i guess people have been staring at me this whole time too when i scrape my toppings off. :confused3

Hmm, interesting discussion. Here's my 2 cents for anyone that cares...

1) I'm not that woman's mother so it's none of my business.
2) I'm not a CiCi's employee so again...none of my business.
3) Someone mentioned gastric bypass as a reason for eating like that and wanting to feel normal...I had gb 19 months ago...this is NOT normal eating habits. Please don't paint us all with the same brush. IF I went to Cici's I would eat a salad (I can really eat a lot of salad for some bizarre reason) and half a slice of pizza. You can feel "normal" at any restaurant so that excuse of having gb doesn't fly.
4) Allergies ... :confused3 Fortunately don't have any that serious so I won't comment.

Unemployment.

If I were unemployed, I probably wouldn't be wasting my money on Cici's or wasting my time counting pizza slices off of a stranger's plate.

I've never been to Cici's but I have been to buffets and seen plenty of people polish off the equivalent to 18 slices of pizza-they paid for it, so I really don't see the difference.

& since you are unemployed, if you are going to waste your money on going out to eat, I say focus on your own meal and enjoy yourself instead of stressing out over a stranger who should have absolutely no effect on your life anyways.

BTW, I am not typically this rude or judgmental, but seriously it's no less my place to judge how you spend your money or time than it is to judge this stranger on how she spends her money or time at Cici's.

:rolleyes:Right back at ya for not seeing the difference between taking plates full of food you have no intention of eating and not finishing something you don't care for.

Not really any different. Woman didn't eat crust, that she didn't care for. How do you, the OP, or anyone else know she didn't intend to eat it, but didn't care for it.

The first time I passed by the woman's table I saw the huge stack of not just crusts but each ENTIRE slice of pizza missing the cheese and topping. I'm a curious (some might say nosey) guy so next time I saw her get more pizza I watched her - since I am unemployed I have the time - just eat the cheese and topping from those slices as well.

Notice in my posts I never made a comment that she wasn't entitled to take those slices or eat them as she she fit. Others have said that.

I'm just saying it was one of the most bizarre things I have ever witnessed while eating at a buffet. It's not something I would be seen doing.
