TODAY: 1/19 check-in time

I know there's a few knowledgable cruisers out there right now to help this first-timer. We are DVC vets but DCL virgins.
We are heading to the Wonder today from WDW (Boardwalk).

What time should I arrive to the terminal?.
What time do they start letting people on board?
What time can we get to our rooms?
Will they feed us?
What should we do until the safety drill?

We are going today, also. You can start checkin at 10:30. Anytime before noon is good. They will feed you as soon as you board, and you can use the time up to the firedrill to see the ship, get settled in your room, and make any special reservations (Palo's, Spa, Etc.). You can swim, but today is not a swim day for sure.
We live in Melbourne and plan on heading over about 10:30. The terminal itself is fun. Believe me, even with the weather, today will go by fast.
