Today’s the Day!! Anyone still deciding on taking advantage of Summer incentives?

I still can't decide whether to proceed with a contract... for all that got the great summer incentive...would you still have bought if you were not given 2022 points to sell back as MB(Not given option of Oct or Dec UY)? Selling back the 2023 points is the only way to keep the point price down, but I would be looking at no points until next June. Not sure what's holding me back, the use year or it seems I'm not over joyed with VGF. Do I have FOMO and would I really be missing out if I walked away?

We bought on 9/10 to take advantage of the great incentives. We have a Feb use year so no option to sell back 2022 points but opted to sell back the 2023 points. I think without the MB on top of the other incentives we would not have bought direct for 150 points. The membership extras is not as valuable to us since we like to alternate DW, Disneyland, Disney Cruise and possibly Aulani. We would have most likely still bought direct down the line but probably just 50 points to have the ability to book Riviera, Disneyland Tower and other future resorts. Im still glad we decided to purchase. I do think we might not see the direct prices go down as low as they were (would like to be proven wrong for sure though!)

We took the GF deal with the 2022 points in the spring and have no regrets. Did anyone notice the current deals that came out today expire on October 30, 2023? My guess is these less attractive deals will encourage people with unsigned contracts to sign without changes and not back out after 30 days. Hopefully this means another great incentive will come out in November that is comparable to the summer special.

I noticed that too and thought the same thing. The summer incentives were 4 months (May to September) these fall incentives are only 7 weeks.

Literally what i was thinking, everyone was banking on a RIV deal on the 12th, but too many people waiting to see the new incentives. They made the new incentives like 45 days, gives ppl time to close, and its year end anyway. They obviously want VGF sold out. November will be Riv, or maybe cabins accouncement?

I think the fact that they kept RIV the way they have leads me to believe that the price, now that is is the cheapest…but still a little more than what they priced VGF for the past few months…is strong enough to move sales it’s way…I do not see them getting it down, for current owners, for less than the $160s or $170s.
