I am looking for a designer whose shoes are top comfort, but fashionable at the same time. Not having heels is not an option for me, as I am 5'5" and my DF is 6'1". What kind of shoes did you have and how were they? I want open-toe too, I do not like closed-toe dress shoes at all. Plus, closed-toe would not look good with my swanky dress.
Thanks!

He he, oops! I thought it said having heels was not an option! There goes my old post. Oh well... here is my shortie heel help (I'm 5'1" and DH is 5'11"

I love character shoes. (Also called Dancesport shoes) They have a quick break in and are extremely comfortable. The ones that I currently am wearing are Capezio. They have a few styles and come in white but also in silver and gold if you wanted something a little flashier and fun. I have to say that I could probably wear these to the parks and walk the 5-7 miles a day for a week and have my feet still feeling good. The sizing is a little different - so if you can find a dance store who carries them (even the same brand but not style and then order online) it is best. The leather do shape to your feet and stretch a little... but I love it.

I don't know how long you have, but these come out in September... don't specify avaliable colors though... (Go to Footwear, Coming Soon, Paris)

Thank you Davids-Coco. I'll be sure to check those out. I am leaning more to silver shoes too, so we are on the same page.
I don't plan on doing a lot of walking in my shoes since I hope to only be wearing them to the intimate ceremony and dinner at CG, but even then, painful shoes can bring out the worst in me!
Any others out there? I know everyone had to wear shoes to their weddding!

I'm still wondering if I should just wear my white high top Converse tennis shoes!!

I had the most comfortable shoes ever for my wedding. I had them on from 8 am and they didnt come off until around 11 pm in the evening. I thought for sure that they would need to come off at sometime during the day however they were sooooo comfortable that they never came off, I was very surprised but very happy.

I purchase them at Nordstroms and I'll tell you they were worth every penny I paid for them.

Here is the link to view them:

My daughter had a similar style to match me and I purchased them at this place

Good Luck with your search for comfy shoes:teeth:
