Going from Sept 5 - Sept 14....... will we need a pair of long pants? sweatshirt, or windbreaker?

We are from the midwest so it's still warm here, but sometimes the evenings are cool.

I hate overpacking especially if I won't need it.

thanks

Hey again. As we talked about earlier, we're going at the same time, and I was at WDW this time last year. I always pack a light jacket cause that's what I will usually put on if it starts to rain ( I do have a poncho as well if they're calling for an all day rain). It will rain in Sept, even if it's only a light shower, so prepare for that. It should be pretty warm and you will probably not need the pants or the sweatshirt. However I always pack one of each just in case. Nothing worse than wishing you had a sweatshirt cause you're chilly. Of course worse case scenario, you don't pack them and when you need them, oh darn, guess you'll have to do some shopping :)

I always bring a sweatshirt or light jacket no matter what time of year. I find the air conditioning very cold in some resorts. I freeze at night every time I go to WDW.

We went to WDW in late Sept 2000 and never needed any pants or sweatshirts - it was HOT! We are from Michigan so I planned possibly cool evenings - I think I brought a few long sleeve button up tops (like knit cardigans) but never wore them. If you really need something you can buy a WDW sweatshirt!

No, you will definitely not need long pants, windbreakers or sweaters. September is one of the hottest months ( we are talking 90's during the days, and high 70's at night) in this area of Florida. I would bring plenty of shorts, loose fitting short sleeve, or sleeveless tops, comfortable shoes and cotton socks and your umbrella or poncho. If you tend to get chilled in airconditioned areas, a light cotton sweater will do the trick.

Have a great trip!:)

I always wear a pair of Dockers-type long pants on the plane ride to keep warm and then I have a decent pair of pants if I want to go out to a nice dinner. You can wear shorts in most restaurants, but I prefer to wear something a little bit nicer.

We went at the end of Sept last year and did not need any long pants, windbreakers or anything of the sort. I think the only place it would be helpful is Disney Quest (I remember it being chilly in there). Everywhere else that was air conditioned (rides and all) was refreshing after how hot it was.

We have gone in September and June...and I have never even packed a short sleeve shirt (only sleevless..very hot). The chill of a resturant or a show will be a welcome relief. On the plane we wear short sleeves and then wear the same on the way home.
