To water park or not to water park?

Getting frustrated and can't make up my mind...Here are my choices:

AAA Rate:
May 4-11, '07
Flights down & back for self, DD13, DS7
7 nights at ASMu
7 day park hopper
Dining plan
= $3015, if water park is wanted than $108 total for 3 tickets to purchase once we're down there

Disney Rate:
May 4-11
Flights down & back
7 nights at ASMu
7 day base upgrade to park hopper & water parks included
Dining plan
= $3262

Question, are there separate tickets for the two water parks or does the ticket give you entrance to both? We've never been to the water parks before...I would be okay without them but my children really want to go. We have no interest in doing Downtown Disney or Quest, whichever it is that is also included in the Disney upgrade.

I *think* water parks upgrade will actually cost you about $50 each if you add after you get there. And you get a certain number of entrances into the water parks (& more), they are all encoded in your regular KTTW (key to the world - room key, park tickets, dining credits, room charging card)

Water Park Fun & More Option - This option provides admissions to Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, DisneyQuest, Downtown Disney Pleasure Island or Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. Extra cost on top of the base-price ticket is a flat rate of $50 ($53.25 with tax). You get a set number of admissions to the Water Park Fun & More attractions, depending on the length of the ticket you buy. The flat rate gives you:
