To wait or to book?

I, too am hoping for a good discount for August. But if no discount comes, I'll go anyway. I may just stay in a less expensive resort or go for a shorter trip. I called once when I was reading about upsells, but it was none for me. Do you think that if we book a trip, we won't get a discount in the mail? Do you think that they send discounts to people who have already booked - why would they? I want to say at least 9-10 night. If I can get a good price, I want to stay at the poly. I could also do the yacht club, WL or POFQ, which I did last summer.

So what are others doing? Booking and hoping for a code or waiting to book? Please share your thoughts on this.

I'm waiting. We plan to go around 8/9. I too tried for an upsell but no luck. I figure if we wait they will have less occupancy and we'll have a better shot at a code. Who knows?? I am anxious to get something planned though.

missycj96, when in August are you going, ever considered free dining??Well it's available for booking now. Dates are August 26-Sep 22. Free dining for 10 nights sure would save you a lot!!! We are going for free dining and staying at CR. Aug 28-Sep2

Hello - thanks for the suggestion. I would have loved to go for free dining. Unfortunately, we are on the school calendar and need to be back by that last week of august. I did free dining last year and it was really great. Missy

We are also waiting to book even though it is killing me! I want to know we are going... but dh wants to wait for the discount(s) to be released before jumping head first into it. I guess it makes sense, but I still would like to book and then wait for a code then apply it when it comes out.
