We are going to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure using the 2fer tickets May 9th-10th. Should we pay the extra $25 to make it a 2-day parkhopper or leave it as it is?:teacher:

Depends, DCA to me doesn't take the entire day to see and do everything especially at the time when your going when the lines won't be long at all. You might want to consider making it a park hopper but then that's just what I would do.

Go for it. I agree with Vegas Mike. DCA has shorter hours than DLR. Sometimes there is 3-5 hours difference in operating hours. You wouldn't want to lose that time

I concur.

You see, I'll definitely want to go to Disneyland first but then when I go to DCA the next day I'll feel let down knowing DL is across the street.

so yeah, phoppers it is!

I would. We always go back and forth - even if I only had two days, we'd probably be hopping for an afternoon in DCA both days.

Why not wait and see? Go to DCA first, if you feel like you are done half way through the day pay the extra and head over to DL. We often are at DCA open to close, then sometimes we'll go to DL for a few rides before heading back to the hotel. We are not big park hoppers, we'll usually only do it 2-3 days during a 6 day vacation.

Yes that's another good point about the hours, I know in May I think DCA closes at like 6PM and DL is open till 9PM some days, it's like getting ripped off because DCA is only open for like 8 hours from 10 till 6 and DL is open from 9 till 9.

I think you have to use the 2fer's by April 26th. I remember reading that somewhere. Check the date(s) on the ticket. If so, that would make the decision easy to make it a 2 day park hopper.;)

Nope.
