..that IS the question...a contuation of the previous thread about Tutto Italia Ristorante...

REMINDER: Carnevale Di Venezia is being celebrated at Tutto Italia Ristorante in the Italy pavilion at Epcot February 8-16 . Specially priced lunch and dinner menus include an appetizer, entree and dessert. Lunch ($19 per guest) will be served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dinner ($29 per guest) will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The event features cast members wearing colorful costumes and handmade Venetian masks, which will be available for purchase. Dinner guests will also be serenaded by the strolling musical trio Viva Venezia. For more reservations or more details, call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).

Thanks for the update. I am headed there next week and heard it was spendy.. we are paying OOP. It helps to know that the lunch prices are reasonable. I wonder what kid prices are???

We had a very nice lunch at Tutto a couple weeks ago, but it was the only restaurant (on any trip we've been on) that wouldn't let my children who are older than nine order off the children's menu. We were not on the dining plan. So my DD had a $19 bowl of spaghetti with butter!! For that reason alone I won't go back with the kids, but it would be a nice lunch or dinner for just DH and me.

Thanks for the heads up. My 15 year old weighs only 95lbs. and rarely can eat off the adult menu, so I guess this place is off the list. :sad1:

...mebbe next time - like, for a 'romantic evening for two'....;)

Even though we love Tutto I would rather eat at Il Mulino

Oh wow. Has this happened to anyone else? This was my daughter's favorite restaurant last year and we ate there 3 times! This year she is 10 and I decided not to get the dining plan because she eats like a bird. We have Tutto booked 3 times again. She just likes the basic children's farfalle with cream sauce.

We also eat at Tutto multiple times each trip. My adult daughter and I are both very, very light eaters. We either split a meal, which everyone was always very happy to do for us, or we eat appetizers. The eggplant parm appetizer is delicious. Not a budget meal by any stretch but at least we don't leave 3/4 of a meal behind on the table.

Is this something your kids could do in lieu of a kids' meal?

I'm curious to know others' experiences, too. I didn't argue about it because I know technically the children's menus are for those nine and under, but we've never anywhere had any difficulty with that. I ordered spaghetti with butter for her and thought they'd probably charge less, but nope, it was the price for the spaghetti and meatballs, $19. Not sure if it was just our server or if that's a stringent policy there.
