I finally got around to picking up DS's copy and reading it. I am at about the half way point, after the Small World "incident". That ride always kind of freaked me out for some reason and now I have a feeling it's going to be very freaky.
Are there more "incidents" like that in the book and are there any rides/attractions that you can't go on/in anymore? Do you look at the park in a different way?
We're going in August and I already feel kind of creepy. LOL

. I would not let a small child read the books for the very reason you described, though. The Magic of Disney should be good and fun, not scary (except the mild scare from some of the "evil" characters).
The fire Station/IASW/TMRR/and POTC..I can actully SEE where the Secret passage is that they "referred to" in the book.

, read the first one and is reading the second one now. He loves them! He laughs like crazy anytime we talk about the IASW scene.
