To those moving from a Disney Resort to The Swan or Dolphin

Next month we will be moving from the Grand Floridian to the Swan. I emailed the transportation dept. at the Swan ( found on their website ) and they are sending a Towncar to pick us up at the GF and bring us to the Swan. They asked what time we want to be picked up and said the driver will be holding a sign with our name on it. They said they cost for this is around $13. I figure we would have paid at least that for a taxi. Thought this is a great deal and wanted to share for those looking to move to the Swan or Dolphin. 4 more weeks until 10 nights at Swan Club level for our 25th ! Can't wait !!

Yes, they have towncars available right outside both hotels for things like this. The cost varies. It was $12 to go from the Dolphin to the AKL . Not bad when in a pinch!!

has been my experience with the town cars. For example a metered cab from the Hilton by dTD to MGM was about 8. A towncar to the same place was 16. And, they work for the same company (Mears.)
