To the one who wanted private pics of Vistana

Iam not the one who asked about pictures but I think they are great.

What did you have a one bedroom or two? If it was a one bedroom which
one did you have the large one or the small one. I was told that there are
different sizes.

:) :) :) :)

We're going in December. Can't wait!

Looks great! Do you have any suggestions for us as far as room requests, or shortcuts to the parks? Where is the closest grocery store?

Thanks again!

Hi...and thanks!

We stayed in a 2-bedroom appartement in building number 13 on the 3rd floor - at the Vistana Villages...

I don't know about the different sizes, but the 2-bedroom was very nice and roomy!

I would diffinitely recommend a a room on one of the top floors, then you will have a beautiful view over the lake.
I thought building 13 was great. The plan of the building is kinda like a horse-shoe with a bridge over to the pool and the main building. Building 13 was right by the bridge, so getting to the main building and the pool was easy - but it was not that close to hear the noise from late-swimmers! - The ideal location I thought.

The nearest grocery-store is probably Publix - about 5 minutes by car and 20 minutes on foot.
I can't remember the road, but I think you can look it up on the net.

Shortcuts I don't know - we took the shuttle, and about 10 minutes later we were at WDW! The hotel is only 3 minutes from I. Bronson Hightway ( 192 )

That's all folks - please do ask questions!

Luv Marie

MiniMissMinnie-

Thank your for your post. Did you stay at VV through RCI exchange or through Hotelkingdom.com? I am staying at VV in June through an RCI exchange and I have read lots about VV in reagrds to HotelKingdom.com reservations, but not much in regards to RCI exchange. Any information would be appreciated.

We have a 2 bedroom also and I am so excited.... Only 28 days until we leave....

Thanks.

I just returned (April 20-27) on an RCI Exchange to VV. We had a great time! We were in Building 1 on the First Floor. This is located right next to the pool, but we never heard any noise. It is also located next to the "Vacation Owners" building (timeshare presentations). These people would come by on a regular basis, but not a problem. We were in a one-bedroom. There are two sizes, we were in the smaller one. It was nice, and just fine for two of us. They provide discounts to RCI members on certain attractions and you are invited to sit through their owners spiel. :)

Publix is the closest grocery store, but we drove to Super Wal-Mart as we knew that they would provide the best deals. When you check in you are provided with directions to many of the popular things (Super Wal-Mart wasn't listed, but just ask the RCI desk lady, they are very helpful). There is one located on the Disney road (192) but we went to one on Sand Lake Road. Both are very busy, but worth it!

We found it easy to drive to the parks, Sea World, Wet & Wild, etc from VV, it is centrally located.

If you have any more questions just ask.

It was a great week, and I'll share what I can.

Thanks for the Pictures MiniMissMini--Don't you want to go back!!!!!

When I showed my dh, he was pleasantly surprised. I really wanted to stay onsite because I received one of those coveted postcards, and we stayed offsite in 2000, but dh needed room to spread out. He didn't want to travel 1,000 miles to be cramped into one small room with our young children (ages 6 and 4.) The unit looks very spacious and I know that we are going to love it. Once again thanks.

Marie,

Thanks so much for posting those pics! I'm staying there for 2 weeks in October, just me and hubby and staying in a 2 bedroom villa.. it looks wonderful.. did you find that the 2 bedroom was spacious enough? (I know I know.. you're thinking.. just you and hubby in a 2 bedroom?) lol I just need lots of space.. and now that I'm typing this and thinking.. I'll have a bedroom to myself if he starts snoring haha Were the rooms clean? How was Housekeeping?Do you have any pics of the pool area? I am so excited about this trip! I requested a top floor overlooking the pool or close to it. I'm looking forward to your posting more pics.. thanks so much.

Thank you for posting your pictures. Can you tell me if there is a shuttle from the resort to Disney and how it operated? Does it run all day or do you have to request the service? We will be staying there June 15th - 22nd in a 2 bdrm condo. Which pool area was your favorite? My daughters (4 and 7) are excited about all of the pool options. Thanks again.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hi....

I'll try to answer all questions!!

- The rooms were very clean. We had maid-service everyday. She took out the trash, put the dirty kitchenware in the dishwasher, made the beds etc.
- I'll try, if I can find a pic of the pool - try again in a couple of days!!

- The shuttle drove 2 times in the mornings: at 8.30 am and 10 am ( I think!!) You talk with the driver, when you would like to be picked up - or at least that what we did. I think it's scheduled to drive from Epcot at 7pm and 9 pm

-There is only one main pool - very big, with loads of different areas, and GREAT!! Then there is a kiddie-pool and 2 hottubs - also GREAT!!!

Have a great trip to VV - we are going again in August!!!!!!!
