I agree that is is both disrespectful and rude to both the performers and those sitting around the texter. Give it a rest and wait until you're outside!

No, no, no, no. Please, people, don't text on dark rides or shows. It's very distracting!

I've noticed so many people who text in movies nowadays. Grrr. I hate it! If you have something that's that important to say, text outside or in the lobby! Be polite to others.
