Ok, so we are going with family (11 total in group--6 adults, 3 young adults and 2 boys, age 9). We got a reservation for Ohana, which was a big score! Now I'm having second thoughts--I think the adults will like the food and 2 of the young adults will be good with it, but not sure about the other and the 2 boys. So, what are the "alternative children's selections" that I read about on the allears menu? What are your experiences here with kids? Thanks!

We went to Ohana in may with our 4 yo and 1yo and the server was WONDERFUL to them. She right away asked if they wanted anything else to eat (forgot the options) and pretty quickly brought them a HUGE plate of chicken nuggets and fries! The kids around us seemed to have a blast. Since the boys are older I am sure they would be fine :)

Glad to hear about chicken nuggets and fries. My ds 12 will want that instead . We want to experience o'hana as it sounds like good food and fun. We haven't in the past due to our picky eater. Already have an adr for this trip and was second guessing myself - not anymore!!!

Ohana is the BEST! You will not regret going there. Your kids will love it too. They do fun things with them like coconut races and the limbo. The server also brought my picky eaters chicken nuggets and fries too! :goodvibes

When we went to Ohana's they asked my DD and her friend what they liked. DD friend wanted chicken nuggets, my DD said she was sick of chicken nuggets, so he brought her a triple grilled cheese sandwich! He also brought them fries and mac and cheese! We had a great time!:dance3:

Do you mean breakfast or dinner? I am assuming dinner by the other responses. We will be doing dinner here for the first time in Oct. so I don't have an opinion on that but we did breakfast here last Dec. and it was amazing!

If dinner is even close to breakfast you will be very happy!

If you got an ADR for 11 people and the time works for you, definitely go! This place is fun and a great place for a big group to enjoy dinner and talk. Because of the family style of the meals, you don't wait forever to get 11 entrees and there is entertainment for the kids (and adults!). Love it at Ohana!

oh good, I am glad to hear that grilled cheese is still offered for kids. My son has egg allergies so the chicken nuggets are a no-go.

we're looking forward to our Ohana dinner!

Ohana is one of my faves! I just LOVE The Poly anyway..Cant wait for our ADR in a few weeks!

We went O'hanas a few weeks ago with 2yo DD and 5mos DS. We had a fantastic time! They are so accomodating to small children. They even let me bring the stroller to the table because DS was sleeping when we first got there! Wanted to add that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were one of the kids choices. They also brought my DD a small bowl of ice cream for dessert (with a side of mickey sprinkles)!

We went a few years ago without kids and had a so - so experience, but they definitely won us over this time!

Thanks for the specific information-I feel much better about the ressie now--I know one family loves shrimp, so they'll be really happy about that! The kids will be great with chicken nuggets, mac and cheese (bonus!!) and fries!
