We've jumped on those Allegiant $39 each way fares out of Pease in Portsmouth for a short Dec. trip. To anyone in the area who has flown out of there, what's the airport like? It is tough to get parking? Is there anywhere to eat inside? It looks tiny, but that could be a good thing!

Parking is easy and free!!!

Food: there was a very small cafe (wasn't open when we were there) and then snack machines. McDonalds is near by so you could stop there before you go

It's very easy to get there.

It seemed to take a little longer to check bags (this was with Pam Am) because they did everything with out x-ray machines (so they had to open every one of our bags before we could check them in)

But I like to fly out of small airports..hard to get lost inside when they only have three terminals!!

Thanks for the info, Marissa, we will give ourselves plenty of time to check our bags.

On the Tradeport property, there is a Red Hook Brewery and Restaurant. Pretty decent food. Good clam chowder.
