Wow - I love your pin collection! That cork-board was a good idea.
And it does sound like you've planted some seeds in their subconscious - who knows if they will sprout ::fingers crosses::![]()
Thank you! I'll be updating today. I usually do better at updating in the morning but I may have woken up a bit too late today for thatWow you have a lot of pins. It sure is looking like a trip might be in the works. Keep praying. I have my fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted![]()
Thank you! I'm obsessed with Disney pins!I really like your pin cork board! that's a really cute idea![]()
Thank you so much!I am praying for you and your family to be able to share this time together in a magical place.
Your foster sister is adorable and I love her name she would make a beautiful BB princess.
Your cork board displaying your pins is so neat my dh would be envious he started collecting a few that last time we were there and I have been fortunate to find him a few at garage sales and thrift stores(WHO would part with such items)
It would be great if I get to go in Dec.to see you and your family strolling past us at one of the parks.
Please thank your brother for serving our country.
Will keep checking in on your PTR to see if you can convince everyone that Disney is the place to be.
I think so too.. I think he'd have a great time staying on a campground because he loves doing that anyway.. So like you said, if he didn't want to go to the parks, he'd have a perfect day anyway! I have been to Fort Wilderness before, but not in the campgrounds. Only in the cabins, so it would be a whole new experience for me. I'm worried it won't be as great as staying at a Disney resort.. No refillable mug.. right? I'm not sure. I need to look up on it more! I know close to nothing about it!Love the Pin cork board!
Buying a camper and staying at Fort Wilderness would be a great idea. Your dad would have his camper and you would have your Disney Holiday. Maybe your dad could hang out in FW fishing and hiking while the rest of you do the Parks. Have you been to FW before?
I agree with the Mickey ears part!!!Following you over from my TR.
Patience is SO cute! She really would look even cuter in a nice pair of mouse ears!I love your pin collection! I think you need to go to get more pins!
Really, I hope you get to go with your family!
I'm very picky when it comes to my pins. I always need a new lanyard and try to get pins that are related to my trip. Like for my trip this time I will get pins that remind me of my mom. She told me before she passed that she really wanted a carrosel of progress pin, so I am determined to get one!
So... A couple of new updates!
Tonight we had a family get together so Tarah and Keith could tell us what the baby's gender is. It is..... A girl!A new little Disney princess is going to be born! She will love Disney, and I bet I can see a Bibbity Boppity Boutique visit in her future!
Anyway, it turns out that our fireplace is messed up and could cause some major problems to our roof.. Dad found out today that it is going to cost 3,000 dollars to fix it!That is NOT a good thing for Disney
Dad is still looking for campers though, so let's hope! There is definitely still a chance
I decided if I go this year, I plan on getting as many character pictures as I possibly can! I LOVE taking pictures with characters, but this is about as much as I've ever gotten from past trips:

I really love this one. Atticus looks so happy! Tigger was sneaking up on him and making him laugh!

Tarah and Keith found Stitch on a day they went off by themselves. I was so jealous!
We've taken pictures with Jimminy Cricket and Princess Aurora too, and a lot of the characters from Chef Mickey's, but they were kind of old so I just thought I'd mention them and not show them
Just a quick update to let everyone know what is going on.
Gonna jump in on here too. Your sister is gorgeous!!! I am a foster sister as well, my parents had at least 50 fosters come through during my childhood. We adopted my younger sister when she was 4. She came to us at 2 1/2. Most agencies will approve an out of state trip if it is for something like Disney. I know that at least half of my "siblings" were able to go at some point in time. My parents never wanted to put the kids in vacation homes. As far as they were concerned, they were their "kids" and they were gonna join in, lol
Hope all goes well for you , it is tough being a grown up! Hopefully the fireplace won't be too much of an issue.
So glad to hear! You will love Fort Wilderness. We had the best time ever!!! Looking forward to hearing about your plans.
