I have 4 flooded chalets, and my basement at the house is taking in some water. We are in the middle of an ice storm and the earth is to saturated to take any more...

If I lose power, I will DIS when it comes back on...

Anyone have any flippers I could borrow?

P.S. We are not in a flood prone area either...

Could see this coming. Gosh, we haven't had this much snow since the 1980's. The ground still frozen and nowhere for the water to go. I think there is going to be a lot of flooding along the Saint John river this year:scared1:

I don't have a full basement. Just a 4 foot wall and crawl space. This time of year, I am glad! Good luck to you with cleanup efforts. I hope you don't have too much damage and that you are covered:scared1:

Our house is on blocking an on a slope so no flooding here there is a coating of ice on my car though .Good luck on your cleanup and i ghope that there is not to much dammage :grouphug:

We have some wet carpet in the basement. Nothing to serious. However we live in a ridge. Not a flood plain either. :scared1: For those living in areas that usually flood I wish you the best. It's starting to wasrm up enough here to melt the ice of the lines so I don't think we will lose our power. Good Luck to you PhotobearSam.

Thanks all...We have 2 chalets that is bad...1 1/2 inches of water everywhere...

The others have a little bit and our basement seems to be getting better...BUT now it's starting to melt...

Hope everyone else is OK.

Sorry to hear you guys are having such troubles. Flooding is a nightmare! We are up to our a$%es in snow here. Just got in from chiselling the driveway - at least I burned some calories LOL :scared1:

Good luck Photobearsam..... We have no flooding here. Our house is built on a good hill so all the water runs away from the house. Just got back from Disney Friday night and after the weather last night I really wish I was back there.

Hi PBSam, we haven't started to flood yet but I can see it coming when and if it stops snowing and warms up:scared1:
One suggestion is to pack up and come to Ottawa and visit me:rolleyes1 .....bring Star Wars Man also......
See you soon:confused:

I've got a spare pair of mask, snorkle and fins I can lend you!:rotfl2: On a serious note, I hope that the flooding dosen't get any worse for you. I've also been wondering what's going to happen when all that snow melts. Hope the flooding will not be that bad.:grouphug:

We though we had the most snow I remember in at least 15 years, but then after the snow yesterday I'm beginning to think it'll never end!! And another one coming again next week on Monday/Tuesday. I'm getting so nervous that we won't get out on Friday Morning. If flights are canceled I'm gonna cry the whole day on DIS! haah :) Wish me luck! and good luck with all the water in your area!
