I'm a list maker - always have been, always will be.

On my to-do list...

pick up turkey and ham
get other groceries
clean bathroom
clean basement
get centerpiece for table


what's on your to-do list?
 
My to-do list:

1. Sweep and wash kitchen floor
2. Clean bathroom
3. Vacuum
4. Pick up toys in living room

That's for this morning as the 18 month old boy I am watching comes from 2:30 to 11:00 p.m. so I have to get my cleaning done BEFORE he get here ;)

For the week:
1. Finish Thanksgiving grocery shopping (Tuesday)
2. Make meat stuffing for T-day dinner (Tuesday)
3. Finish making Christmas cards so they can go out next weekend
4. Tidy up ds's room and play room so house is super clean for Thanksgiving.
5. Bring china dishes up from basement and wash
6. Get turkey cleaned and ready to cook (Wed. night)
7. Peel and chop potatoes for T-day dinner (Wed. night)

Got to fit all this in between baby-sitting and meetings. Busy week for me! :earseek:
 
1.) Get caramel recipe from my friend :teeth:

2.) Get apples and turnips to make pie and mashed turnips for dinner on Thursday.

3.) Get myself to the card store, I need to send out some pick me up cards to friends.

4.) Finish scaling Mt. Laundry before the holiday. *ugh*
 

DH and I have been completing our to-do list for the last 2 weekends.....here is what is left

Tonight:
Organize recipes for Wednesday
Clean upstairs bathrooms
Straighten up DDs rooms
Pick up fruits/vegs/chairs from brother
Boil eggs
Vacuum rugs/sweep hall

Tuesday:
Make pie crust bottoms (6)
Get DDs to gymnastics
Goto grocery store for lunch meat
Straighten Christmas Tree limbs

Wednesday:
Make 6 appetizers
Put together 6 pies, bake all but 1
Bake cookies,brownies and fudge
Put together 4 side dishes/casseroles, don't bake
Have DH put lights on Tree
Put ribbon on guest gifts
Put Mom's gifts to siblings in bags
Print directions for DDs birthday party and get invites ready

Thursday:
Get tables organized
Bake all of what is left above
Bake turkey and ham
Make punch
DH and DDs to put ornaments on tree
Get corn, green beans, mash potatoes, biscuits/rolls and gravy ready

Friday:
4am-hit the stores
 
Today:
Get my lazy butt up and get lunch
Go to Art History at 2:50
Eat dinner
Write an english paper
work on my oil painting for class
attempt to go to sleep before midnight (stupid college)


Tomorrow:
Class from 8:00 until 11:30
lunch
Class from 1:30 until 3:15
Health center at 4:30
dinner
laundry
Pack for home

Wed:
Wake up at 6:00 am
Take the T to the airport
Try to get a standby flight to NY (my flight is currently 8:30 at night and it's 160 to change it in advance :( )
GO HOME!!!!!!
Spend some time with my family
See my friends
visit my boyfriend

Thursday:
help mom cook for Thanksgiving

Friday:
brave the black friday crowds
go to the gym

Saturday:
get eyebrows waxed
 
(Evil Princess - enjoy your "TO-DO" list - ahhh...to be young again!)

1- go to the mall to buy birthday gifts (we celebrate 3 BDs on Thursday)
2-finish grocery shopping for TDay
3-order 2 choc cream pies (I don't make these)
4-work out at Curves
5-I know there's more - I just can't remember what!
 
Today: Pick up house

Tuesday:Haircut, Highlights and eyebrow wax
Start packing.

Wednesday:Laundry
Finish packing
Make a pie for Thanksgiving

Thursday:Get up early and drive to In-laws
Eat a lot of food!
 
My list is actually a 2-page spreadsheet.

I won't put you through that trauma.

But today, I hope to accomplish the following:

Pick up a money order to pay buddy for software he sent me (I'm out of checks) - DONE

Take car in for oil change, new tires, and fix transmission leak - DONE (well, the car's not, but I did drop it off)

Pick up house key from realtor - DONE

Get housekeys made (again, they didn't work first time) - DO WHEN I HAVE WHEELS AGAIN

Tidy up Garage - LATER
 
1. Finish cleaning the house: Sweep, mop, vacuum, bathrooms...
2. Monday: Pick up glass shelf for china cabinet
3. Make brine for turkey (Tues.)
4. Wednesday make:
Sweet Potatoes
Cranberry Relish
Cranberry Butter
Rolls
Pies
Cornbread Dressing...
5. Set table Wednesday night
6. Make sure family members know what time to come and what they are bringing
7. Thursday: COOK!

To Do On Monday:

*Get ds up and off to school (Dang it! He wet the bed!)
*Take kitten, Pumpkin, to be spayed (Poor kitty--will be feeling icky for a while)
*Wash ds's sheets!
*Clean upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms, wash sheets, towels, and rugs
*Volunteer at ds's school bookfair
*Go over ds's homework
*Cook dinner (dh's favorite--shrimp creole)
*Pick up Pumpkin from vet
*Get ds to basketball practice
*Get ds to bed after getting all hopped-up at basketball practice:hyper:
*Catch the end of Joe Millionaire
*Read my book in bed
*Get up 50 times at night to see if cat is OK

Tuesday to do list:

Awwwww, man! I don't wanna think about it!
 
You all make me appreciate my MIL. She won't tell me how I can help her. She says that I have my hands full with 3 children and not to bring a thing. I always do take something. I just don't know what yet.

Starting now to this evening:

1. Pick up DS from basketball practice
2. Stop at store to get potatoes
3. Return call to my Sub caller
4. Return a gf's call
5. Make dinner
6. Make cookies to take to football banquet tomorrow night

Tuesday: (if I don't get called to teach)

1. Drop DS off at school
2. Talk to 8th grade Science teacher because I will be covering him for a week and a half starting next Mon.
3. Call college DS to see when he's coming home
4. Stop by school office to draw for Secret Santa
5. Go help set up for 400 people for the Football banquet
6. Attend the Football banquet!

Wednesday:

Now I can focus on Thanksgiving!!!!!
1. Go to Meijers to finish buying any dinner items my Mom has forgotten!
2. Help her cook the pies
3. Figure out where college DS is going to sleep....the middle DS took his bed!
4. Relax and wait for the BIG day!!!
 
Let's see I have to do everything it very little time
Finish wash 6 loads tonight
pack for 4 from wed till monday
go to grocery store for items for parents
go to candy store for my mom
run car through car wash
drop dog, food, toys, and cage at in laws
make sure cat is watered and feed (clean litter box note to DH)
pack the van
ask the neighbor to pick up mail and paper
write out bills and mail at postal center
go to the bank
call my mom for weather report
I'm sure I'm forgetting something
 
1. find someone to cover shift on friday
2. GO TO CLASS
3. go to bed at normal hour
4. pick up gifts for Half time dancers
5. pack for home (yay!)
6. study for midterm
7. apply to transfer to northeastern (yay!)
8. see my family for the first time this semester! (double yay!)


thats the fun stuff...i could get into everything i have to do before i go home for christmas break but then i would start to cry!!:(
