To DIS-Con or not to DIS-con?

That is the question!

Right now, I have a trip scheduled for mid November, split between the Poly and PO-R. However, I'm also really wanting to go to DIS-Con! I can barely afford one trip, so doing both is definitly out of the question. So, I'm quite stuck deciding!

If I go in November, I'll be meeting up with my good friend Nate, who I absolutly love doing WDW with. If I go in December, I will obviously have the DIS crowd as companions.

In November, I'd be at two of my favorite resorts- December I'd probably be at the Swan, which I've always wanted to try. If I go in November, I'll probably have to find someone to share a room with too, to cut costs (I'm quite poor for a princess!) I'd also have to come up with the extra $ for registration.

Going in December would be a great break from Missouri winter weather, but it also poses the extra problem of being able to get to the airport, and flight delays due to the weather!

Also, my hours at work will be increasing a lot in late November, so I wont be missing as much work if I go in Nov.

What would you do? Help me decide!

Do what I did, REGISTER!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Honestly, this wasn't easy for me, by any means. I am leaving my family behind, I'm spending money that we really don't have extra of right now, etc. The guilt was heavy. So... if I can get past that (sorta), you can overcome your hurdles, too.

As for roomies, I have one but, I know other solo's are looking.

The DICon board would be good for you regarding all the info available and, all that you'll get for registering. Don't forget mini-meets!!

Hope to Meet you in Dec!! :) :Pinkbounc

If you've never seen them, the Christmas decorations are just beautiful so IMO it's worth going at that time of year for those alone - something else to take into consideration :)

Of course, I'm bias because I went last year...I know what fun it was...and so am going again this year :)

I'm going and I really can't afford it. I also worry about the weather and taking time off of work, but after reading all about last years I don't want to miss this one!
