I have just under 3200 points at MyPoints, and with the recent UAL news, I'm debating whether to cash out for two $10 Webbies, or wait to earn those extra 300 points and cash out for the $25 Webbie. Do you think MyPoints will be around long enough for me to collect those extra 300 points, or should I cash out now? Suggestions, comments, thoughts?

I don't know. I'm still getting 5-point emails from them, so I'm not too concerned yet. I have about 2700 points. So I'm waiting for another Tupperware offer next week (the once-every-7-days email offer) and then I'll cash out for another $25 webbie.

But it would be just my luck then when I start trying to do all these Tupperware offers for Webbies that something bad would happen to MyPoints.

I'm not too concerned yet, either. So far, there haven't been many of those tell-tell signs that most programs have before they go under. They still seem to be sending redemptions in a fairly timely manner and crediting points to accounts. The only thing I have noticed so far is that it is harder to get responses to e-mails, making me think that there is a reduced staff.

I am close to cashing out again, too. And I also wanted to get the $25 webbie instead of cashing out for $10's. Points haven't been too hard to come by at MyPoints lately with all the Tupperware offers and Fox points, etc. I think I will hold on a little longer and see what happens.

I am of the other camp. I would cash out right away. Why risk $5 when you could have $20. I have learned my lesson in the past that rewards programs are too fickle.

Remember suzykats, freeride, disneyawards, beenz.... I was left holding out for a few more clicks.....

That being said, Mypoints is one of the top rewards sites around!

Thanks, everyone! If I could only find one more "big" point-earner (another Tupperware banner would be great!), I would be a happy camper.

I'm a chicken. I cashed out for two $10s rather than wait. I always kick myself later for doing it, but I guess deep down I'm a "better safe than sorry" kinda girl. ;)

I've had that thought, too, Dizneeyore. As soon as I though that, though, I thought: If MyPoints goes under, I won't get my reward regardless. So, if I cash out now for 2 $10's, or wait for the $25, I won't see the WebCerts/points, regardless. We'll just wait (and hope!) and see!
