To cancel or not to cancel?

Hey everyone!

I'm going crazy trying to make a decision before 5 pm today. We were planning a weekend trip to Disney from Nov. 10 through Nov. 14. Of course me being the procrastinating type, I decided to call about a month ago, and not to my surprise they didn't have any studio available on property so I was wait-listed for it.

Fast forward to this week, on Friday I called and luckily found the first two nights for our trip at SSR!!! :cool1: So I changed my waitlist for the remaining two nights that we needed.

Problem is, I called today to see if there were any studios available and there are none, AND today is our 30 day mark for us to cancel without our points going into holding.

Should I cancel the two days we have and just forget about the trip at all? or Should we leave them there and hope our wait-list comes through??

What are our chances here???? :confused3

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I think a lot would depend upon some variables. Do you have your flights booked? If so, I would still go, and see about getting the missing nights for cash, maybe at Pop Century.

If you don't have your flights, I'd probably cancel and try for another date.

If you are at day 30 I think that you may be too late. I think that you need to cancel at day 31. Or am I wrong everyone?

October has 31 days, so today is the 31 day mark for cancellation. They go by literal days, not calendar month.

Ah, good oberservation! When the OP said that they were at the 30 day mark, I just assumed they were really at the 30 day mark. I didn't check the dates.
