One of my co-workers INSISTS that Disney Park Hoppers are vaild for entry into Universal. She KNOWS this for a FACT because that's exactly HOW she got into Universal for FREE.:rolleyes:

Even better, if you don't go into a Disney park that day, the Universal day is free and a Disney day IS NOT deducted from the park hopper. :rotfl2:

But it ONLY works with Disney park hoppers, not base tickets. That's why Disney charges more for them. :headache:

Jim

Sounds to good to be true. Too much of a risk if its not & left with no tix for UO on day of when needed

I betcha your co-worker is mixing up Hollywood Studios with Universal Studios. They probably went to Hollywood Studios and then went to another Disney park after that with their parkhopper, so of course it wasn't counted as a different day.

Friend has something wrong cause wether its Hollywood or Orlando you can't use a Disney park hopper to get into universal

Nah, she's not confused, just full of it. She's the self-proclaimed expert on all things Orlando because she visits "a lot." (Maybe 5 times in the past 10 years). She's a know-it-all on many other subjects too. We just let her talk then smirk at each other or roll our eyes.

Because she goes "a lot", Disney apparently falls over backwards giving her all kinds of extra things, like including Universal in her Disney Park Hoppers. Amazingly, she admits she DOES have to pay for the park hoppers. You'd think since she's there "all the time," Disney would comp her tickets. Everyone knows she's a big BS artist.

By the way, I think in California, there IS a pass that includes both Disneyland and Universal Hollywood, as well as Sea World in San Diego. Something called the LA City Pass or similar. Not sure if it's one physical pass card, or if they give out separate tickets for each park.

Yep, the southern ca city pass. Orlando has the Go card but the only main parks included are legend and seaworld. Sounds like a good pass for seeing those and other things though!

Whenever I take a survey, either through universal or Wdw, they always ask if I was aware that the two place are different and if I believe I can use my ticket at both places. Obviously it's a pretty common belief if they need a spot in their surveys to see where you fall on that belief.

UT is undercover tourists.

mousesavers is a monthly newsletter that comes by email on the 15th of the month.

there is a special link in those newsletters that directs you to the UT website.
if you order from UT, go thru the link in the mousesavers email to get a discount on park tickets.

UT sells park tickets to most of the Florida entertainments.

what are the dates of your vacation?

there are some dates that UO does have larger crowds.

if you are going to the darkside/universal in May, fridays tend to become crowded as local schools do field trips to the UO parks.

I got the link. Ready to purchase but are they open ended? ( i.e. when I order the only date I specify is when to have it delivered but not when I'm actually going into the parks). Will it matter?
