Hello April. I just stumbled onto your trip report and spent the evening (between pampering my wife, that is) completely reliving the trip with you! From start to the incredibley awful finish in Atlanta! Holy Cow. Right up to the arrival of the new baby!

I just wanted to pop in and say I enjoyed it. I guess everyone has different perspectives on Disneyworld. For my family, the thrill rides are part of the whole experience, but I can see how someone else could have a great time (as you did here) without doing too much of that! I also noticed you guys were hungry a whole lot, something I want to prevent on my upcoming trip.

I'd guess that won't happen anymore as you have the little one to think about now! And wow, that room is awesome and that baby is adorable.

Great trip report! Now go do another one (when you have time away from being a mother... ha ha!)

I think we just were having too much fun to remember to eat until we were starving. That didn't happen on our "babymoon" trip!! We were NEVER hungry with the DDP!!

Thanks! I did have a wonderful Mother's Day! And pretty much every day since then! I LOVE being a mommy and I just adore my little guy!

So far, I've managed to keep it hidden. I'm just worried that he'll somehow realize it's at Target (we're there all the time!). He did make a comment one day about how much he loved that shirt (since I had shown him your pic) and I had trouble keeping my mouth shut that he had one waiting for him. But I did.

Thanks I'm really trying not to inundate you guys with photos (since this IS a Disney trip report and not a "look at my cute baby" trip report.) It's very difficult for me to hold back! But I let it all out on Facebook...my poor fb friends...I put up at least 3 photos a day. However my Mother in Law (who lives in KS) absolutely loves me for it. I hear all the time how I'm the best daughter in law ever cause I give her lots and lots of photos.

Anyway, our plan is to take him for his 3rd birthday. He'll be old enough that he'll be familiar with the characters and hopefully will really enjoy it and if we go FOR his 3rd b-day...he'll be free except for the plane. We'll be going back again but I just feel like 3ish is a good age to start. If we lived in FL we'd probably have already gone by now... but alas we don't.

See...that's why *I* think fb was created. But I think some disagree. Though Caden does have QUITE the following on there. He usually gets at least 20 likes on every photo put up. It's crazy! I really shared all the prep and pregnancy stuff on fb (put up lots of pics of the nursery and "baby bump's first whatever" etc) and so people kinda got to follow along and he had a fan club waiting by the time he was born. It's really fun for me and lots of my out of town friends really love that they get to watch him grow.

I think it's likely I'll stick around! At least reading TRs til then. I love to follow your Disney days and Dugette will have some good stories coming up too!!

Good choice! I told Andrew we would never be doing Disney pregnant again! I would possibly reconsider that if I was at the beginning of my second trimester. But any later than that (or earlier) and it's out! So I really hope I'm not pregnant on Caden's 3rd birthday or he's not gonna get to go!

Thanks! I missed doing his 1 month photo cause I kept waiting to find the perfect onesie or the perfect time. this time I just threw him in a white onesie and used photoshop to add the "2 months" font. It worked great! So that's the plan from here on out!

And maybe I'll put up some more pics soon. He changes so quickly!

Waiting for the fireworks to start. He really enjoyed the fireworks! He sat in my lap and just stared at them the whole time. He wasn't even phased by the noise

Thanks! He is very alert...he's been pretty alert even since birth. And yep...he's a big one! He's up to 15.5 lbs now. We've already had to move the car seat straps up. Hopefully we won't outgrow it until he's at least sitting up on his own.

We just got Caden's 3 month photos taken at JCP. I ended up doing more Mickey photos kinda on accident. A friend got me this adorable onesie that I wanted to do his 6 month photos in. Well...I washed it the night before we went to do these 3 month photos and it shrunk!! It fits him right now but probably won't in a month. Boo!!! So he got his 3 month photos in it instead. Now I've started a trend and I'm going to feel compelled to finish this Mickey theme out in his 6 month, 9 month and 1 yr photos. LOL Oh well...my family already thinks I'm crazy, nothing new to them!

I'll post his "sitting next to Mickey" 3 month photos once I take them. It's on the agenda for today.

He's 3 months exactly today. 15.5lbs now. And last night was the first night he's slept without being swaddled. It was a big move for us. I was starting to fear we'd have to swaddle him til he was 30!

I had to laugh about the swaddling. I won't even admit to how long we swaddled Andrew. I had the same fear, but it worked for him! Glad Caden slept alright without it.

We did a JCP photo package when Nate was born, too.

Love the Mickey outfit! You won't hear any complaints from me about the costume. When he's 14, maybe, but certainly not now.

So I realized I never updated with Caden's 3 month pics next to Mickey...So here you get 3 months and 4 months.

Caden is 4 months old now. We went to the Dr today and he's 16lbs and 27.5" tall!! His height is in the 100th percentile!

He is back in the swaddle. LOL I lasted 2 nights and then gave up. He was miserable all day long cause he was sleeping terribly at night. So he's back with his arms swaddled. Soon I'll transition him out but he's not rolling over yet (absolutely no interest) so it's not super important to get him out yet.


He laughs and grins all the time. And he's just started grabbing his feet! I LOVE it!! And he's still a great sleeper. Sleeps 8-8 with 1 wake up usually (occasionally he'll sleep straight thru). Mommy loves that!
