to anyone that has been to Cafe Orleans recently

When I went to Cafe Orleans on my trip in 2008, I got the French Onion soup in a cup for $3.99. Now on the menu it just says French Onion soup for 7.99. Is this for a bowl and do they not sell it in a cup anymore? Thanks, I will be there next Friday and my bf and I were both planning on getting the soup with some pomme frites so I'm just wondering about the size.

We're planning on eating there on our upcoming trip & the menu I just looked at from allears has the cup of french onion soup & gumbo for $3.99 each. I think it must have been omitted from the menu you saw.

The $7.99 price is for a bowl, the gumbo is the same price. My favorite thing at CO is the soup and a salad, DBF gets a MC and I eat a piece, he eats some of my soup/salad and we share Pomme Frites with everyone. Enjoy your CO meal.

We had lunch there last Thurs. and Fri. I don't recall there being a cup of French onion soup on the menu. We had it both days and it came in a bowl. It was around $7 or $8, I think? For us, one soup and one pommes frites was more than two of us could eat.

That's the website where I was looking at the menu, here. The cup is not on there for the soup, only the gumbo.

Thanks, I guess I can persuade my boyfriend to share a bowl with me. Knowing him though, he will want his own. He said he wants two servings of pomme frites for himself!

No size options were listed last time I ate there (June). It wouldn't hurt to ask, though. Heck, just the other day, I learned that you can get a corndog without the chips or apples. Five bucks. Never occurred to me to ask.
