To all my Mass. Friends...do you know of any good Oak Furniture shops??

Im in desperate need of you help. This past spring we ordered a piece of furniture from the oak specialist and had a problem getting it. When we googled it MASSLIVE had another person with the same problem as we did and recommended a new oak store. We were planning on going up there this week but when i went to masslive to get the name of it the post was gone. Would anybody know of what the place could be? Any help would be appreicated it!!

Have you tried the Oak Specialty Store in West Springfield? Over the years we have purchased some beautiful dining room furniture from them and been very happy

What part of Mass are you in and what kind of furniture are you looking for?

Mill Store has a lot of nice oak furniture. They are in Sharon. It's unfinished furniture, but they will finish for an additional fee.

Actually the Oak Specialist is where we had problems...took us almost a year to get a piece that we had ordered. It was a messageboard almost like the BBB that we were on asking if anyone else ever had problems and others replied and had recommended this other store we cant find now. Ive been to Andy's Oak shoppe too up there...very nice place just doesnt have the curio im looking for.

Are you thinking of Countryside Woodcraft on Route 20 in Russell? Phone # 413 862-3276. I believe they make all of their furniture right on sight so they could probably make what you are looking for. I have heard nothing but good about this store. I believe the people that run it are Mennonite in the summer they sell veggies by the roadside. This is about 5 miles from where I live.

We got a beautiful oak stand that is made for a 50 inch tv...it has two glass fronts to it and two side fronts too and then a large drawer......we stained and then put poly on it to match the oak in our home........This was at the MILL STORE
Their stores are just fantastic and I want to take everything home with me..
