I asked this in the Codes and Rates board but thought I might get more feedback by also posting here:

I am currently set up with the Fall Package discount for 5 nights at POR. It is just DH and myself. We have it booked for about $1200. I was wondering how much more it would be if we added on DDP. Would it be worth it? DH and I haven't used DDP in the past but it might ulimately be better for us since we love TS and he loves mickey bars :mickeybar :goodvibes .

Any ideas or actual number calculations would be appreciated!

It would add about $390. It can be worth it, BUT you will have a hard time getting ADRs anywhere at this point. Whether on the Dining plan or not, so you might factor that in, IF you can't get Table service ADRs and will have to eat counter service for most of your meals then the Plan will not help you much.
So I suggest you call for ADRs now and see what you can get, then decide whether to add the plan, you must add it at least 3 days I believe, before you arrive if you do want it. You don't need to be on the plan or even staying at Disney to make ADRs.

Thanks Mickiethepooh! Thankfully I already have made at least one TS for every day of our trip. I can't forsee making any other ADRs unless hubby changes his mind on something :)

I did map out the cost and think I will end up adding this to our package. The tipping included (for the rest of this year at least) alone is worth it since DH and I do love our sit-down and character meals :)

It is very worth it... especially for just 2 people. It's nice to sit back and relax at the end of the day, not worry about cost of dinner, enjoying that extra app and dessert... that you normally would not have gotten. We loved it last year. Great value.
